I frequent this store on the way to work downtown. I usually have a good experience with most of the baristas. But, there is a woman who is not friendly at all. I’ve had the displeasure of her ringing me up 3 occasions and she’s always been rude; doesn’t say anything to me, just scans my card and I leave. However, the bar barista is always nice.

Not the best customer service! Girl at register was new, I completely understood, was very patient with her. I very politely repeated my order to her twice, made sure to advice what I wanted. Just wanted an iced coffee with sugar free vanilla, and cream. She accidentally didn’t put cream on the cup, no problem at all. I very politely asked the guy who made my drink, “may I please get cream in my coffee?” He gave a passive aggressive, “yea, that’s what she was asking at the register?” Really? I’ve worked retail most my life and can’t stand this type of attitude! The customer was being as nice and polite, as he could be! You gotta go that extra step to throw a passive aggressive, smart a$$ remark in there!? Well, apparently he wasn’t listening to what was being conversed at the register too well! I plainly, politely, and very slowly told the girl what I wanted twice! So sorry for the inconvenience! But, will be taking my business elsewhere from now on! Also, I frequently go to this location, and have the same order! Guy must have been having a bad day? I just politely thanked him for correcting the problem. Never want to be one of those customers that act out on the worker, it’s rude. You guys might wanna sharpen your customer service, you know.... Old rule of retail! If someone has a bad experience? Sure to share it vs. a good one! Actually, went back to same location this Sunday, big mistake! Always willing to give a place a 2nd chance; again, received horrible service! The coffee sleeves were in reach when I got my order. The guy behind the counter very rudely said, “ask for a sleeved next time!” What a JERK! I stepped out for a minute, to collect my cool! I just went back inside and placed my drink and sleeve back on the counter & walked out! Again, what a jerk! I will be calling corporate on this one!

Our barista Ethan killed it. He was eager to let us know what our options were w/ the kids. We enjoyed the new Almond Milk Honey Flat White, and the kids both enjoyed chocolate milk in their Starbucks sippy cups. Great location with lovely outdoor seating in NOMA square.
