My small dog was viciously attacked by a pit bull, his neck was bleeding and swollen. I rushed him over to VCA, I was warned that emergency’s are seen first. The vet tech took one look at my dog and took him back right away. I was informed of the pricing and procedures before they did anything, It was expensive, but they took really good care of my dog and at the end that’s all that matters. He was sent home with pain meds and stitches. We were told we were really lucky the pit bull missed the artery, because it would of been a whole different story. Overall this place was great, Im glad I made the right decision to bring him.

Our 2 1/2 year old lab mix tore his ACL...who knew?! Dr. Little and the staff at VCA have been exceptional. Dr. Little is a thorough and amazingly competent practitioner while also being authentically compassionate. The staff is polite, helpful and also extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I would highly recommend the office and I would highly recommend Dr. Little for any surgical needs your pet may need.

My dog has been coughing, gagging, and throwing up for days so we called here and they said to call back at 4 when we did they said the staff had just changed and to call back in 2 hours so we did, they let us take our dog so we did and they said it was a simple cough gave us medication and charged us 900$, it’s been over a week and she’s coughing throwing up MORE so we took her else where and now they’re telling us she has something stuck in her throat. 900$ for inaccurate treatment and diagnosis who knows if they even did the right procedure 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

My dog broke a nail and she was in pain so I took her in on a Thursday at 6:30 am. They told me it would be a 2hr wait, but I waited around 45 mins or so. They treated her nail, wrapped her paw and gave her antibiotics/painkillers. The bill was high, but it is expected at an ER visit. She was discharged around 9:40am. The staff was nice and attentive. The one star stems from a mistake they made that would have cost me another ER visit and a few hundred dollars. They forgot to cone her. As a pet parent and the first time this type of injury has happened to my dog I didn’t know she had to be coned. So I went home thinking everything is okay, 2 days later the gauze is gone and I have to go to the ER again. Thankfully, the nail looked good and the tech just coned her. I went home and looked at the bill and they had charged me for the cone. A small mistake like this only makes me wonder if they’ll miss other things as they treat my dog in the future. This mistake could have easily cost me another few hundred dollars in treatment and threatened my dog’s life. If you’re reading this, I recommend going somewhere else. Drive the extra hour.

Questions & Answers

Hello, I was wondering if you had an 'on-staff' veterinarian that specializes in English Bulldogs. My current vet can't seem to diagnose the cause for my bullies vomiting. Thanks,

Yes, please go. My shepherd mix has irritable bowel syndrome and Dr. Mott is great. No episodes of further copious vomiting.

I suggest taking your dog to the vet. If needed, a senior blood panel or ultrasound can be done to diagnose. Hopefully, he can be given meds.

I don't know but I think they would.

My 14 year old collie/shepard mix was just diagnosed with Nasal adenocarcinoma in the left side of her snout. Neoplastic cells have infiltrated the bone per vets report. The internet does not seem to hold out much hope for tx but what do you think ?

From my understanding it's a nasal tumor and from what you describe may be very serious. I have had very good experiences with TLC Pasadena in terms of emergency treatment, but I would strongly recommend you seek another Vet's opinion before you make a decision with TX. Also, to clarify I'm not a vet, my dog was a patient at TLC
