Had lunch there with four friends. Sat in the big corner booth. There for almost two hours. Other friends came in. Always the best food, best atmosphere, best staff. The glass case of baked goods is so big they have an incredible selection of muffins and cookies and brownies and that sort of thing. I had the jerked chicken sandwich with tangy sauce and sides of carrots, and green beans. Also thick potato chips they must make themselves; you know--the really good homemade kind. Now, I am not a carrots or green beans person and I don't even know what provoked me to order them. They. Were. GREAT!

Live this little cafe so far. Good selection of local brews and great food. Fantastic beer battered chicken strips and fish. The fish was perfectly crispy and not over cooked. Will definitely be back to try more if the menu.

Most personable waitress ever. She delighted us with local history and gave us directions to a town treasure. The bakery is filled with delicious treats too!

We were very excited to come back to the blue chair as every time we visit sewanee for family we make it a point to stop here. Every time we have been very happy with our time, this time less so. The food was great and coffee pretty good. But the customer service was lacking. The woman at the counter was very patient with our big group helped us with everything. But there was obvious signs of stress most likely form her coworker running around, being rude, and forgetting many orders and names. His customer service was less than desirable.
