We had lunch here yesterday on a whim. It was AWESOME! The food was fantastic! Our server, Damon, was the best! He was efficient, funny, took the time to tell us local things to do in the area. The food is definitely generous on portion size and they offer much more than tacos. Would definitely go back and ask for Damon.

It is a pleasant atmosphere. Outdoor seating for a nice day. The 2 staff members were very friendly. The tacos and rice I had were tasty. The rice should be on the regular sides list not premium. Is a small bowlette (yes i made up a word to shrink bowl) of rice. All in all. It gets the 5 stars.

Unfortunately, I feel like this location of Taco Mac is going downhill. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, and we often ate there multiple times a week before covid. Our last few experiences have been a little rough; below is a summary of some things we've noticed recently: Cleanliness Rating (out of 10): 7 - The wall the booths in the back of the restaurant are against have had a thick layer of dust and the SAME ketchup handprints multiple trips (weeks apart) Staff (out of 10): 8 - The staff used to be amazing. Some of the servers who have been there for a while are still great, but some of the newer servers (and hostesses) aren't very friendly or attentive. The last time we walked in, we felt like an inconvenience to the 3 women standing around talking to each other at the hostess stand. - Multiple times we've been there recently, they've been pretty understaffed, which has made it difficult for servers to keep up. Order accuracy (out of 10): 7 - On a recent trip, our chicken was brought out with the wrong sauce (spicy garlic instead of savory garlic), which was too spicy. We told the server it was wrong, and she confirmed that she put savory garlic on the ticket and that the kitchen made a mistake. The manager came over and assured that they will make our new order quickly and fix the issue. We understand that mistakes happen and were happy to wait for a new order. Unfortunately, the "make-up" order they brought out had the same sauce. We were in a hurry and could not wait for a third order to be cooked. The manager did apologize and take care of our meal. Online orders (out of 10): 5 We've recently had online orders where items were missing or made incorrectly. - Several weeks ago, one of our sides (that we paid extra for) was missing. I called when we got home, but they were pretty busy that night (I believe it was a Sunday) and nobody answered. I called back the next day and was told a manager would contact me later that day. I waited until Thursday and never got a call back. The manager gave us a "free" side with our next order. - We waited 50 minutes last night for our online order, and when we got home, we realized that we were given the wrong burger. I ordered the silver comet, but the burger I got didn't have the guacamole or jalapenos it was supposed to have, and it had mushrooms on it. I looked through the menu to see which burger it could have been, but honestly, I couldn't tell - it had mushrooms on it but didn't look like any of the burgers on their menu. Our ranch was missing, we received no napkins or silverware (we always used to), and the sweet potato fries were very soggy (not a huge deal, but we ordered them extra crispy. I understand this can be difficult to do with a to-go order, but we live less than a mile away). Called when we noticed the issue and nobody answered. Called again today and nobody answered, and there's no option to leave a message. Overall, they aren't terrible, but I think they lack attention to detail and strong management. I don't like to leave poor reviews, but I'm finding it very difficult to get in touch with management.

We had a great first experience, at taco MAC Chattanooga because of a great recommendation! Gracie was an exceptional, personable server, and went above and beyond great service! Our appetizer, and entrées we’re served very fast, and everything tasted super! We asked for extra garlic, and extra Parmesan for our wings and got plenty on the side! Probably the best wings we’ve ever had! Assistant manager Clint came by and bust our tables and checked on us a couple different times! If ever visiting Chattanooga, we will definitely be back and we highly recommend taco Mac!

As far as I know. If what you want is not on, you should be able to ask then to change one of the TV's to it. They have over 30 of them.
