My husband and I have been using this UPS Store as a mailing address for our small business since June. We PAY MONEY to have a mailbox there with package receiving services. Our packages are lost regularly. This location is always a mess inside. Once, I went in to pick up packages with my husband and it looked like someone's bedroom had exploded in there. There were literally blankets laying in piles on the floor, luggage that had busted open with clothing and personal effects stacked up and spilling out all over the store. There were rolled up carpets hanging around. There were packages in piles thrown everywhere. I. Was. Horrified. Every time we go to pick up packages there, something always, always, always gets forgotten and left behind and we pay for this service, you'd think that when we come in to pick up our packages and mail that they'd have everything set aside and ready for us. NOPE. It's always a stressful experience where employees are running around like chickens with their heads cut off looking for our packages in every nook and cranny of the store. Today was par for the course. My husband went to pick up packages and when he came home he was short on packages. Then, we have to call them to find the other packages. If it's a new person, they're frequently dumbfounded and surprised at how easily they found the missing package. If it's a senior person like Linda, I'm treated with disdain when I ask for help finding the rest of my packages. Obviously I'm a bit annoyed when I have to call to get them to do THEIR job, which is to simply receive and provide my packages. Most recently Linda hung up on me after telling me to "calm down"; I was perfectly calm, though rightfully annoyed. I am also a very straightforward business person. I don't sugar coat things but I hardly am ever not calm. Linda asked for the tracking number, when I provided it, Linda lectured me some more for not being "calm" and saying "I don't type shorthand (quite snarkly) and every time we call, we are upset." Annoyed is not the same as upset; we are annoyed and we HAVE to call to get them to DO THEIR JOB, rather than waste our time. You do not hang up on customers when they are annoyed, you try to help them. Linda and this UPS store have no interest in helping their paying customers. They are only interested in shielding their obvious incompetence from the world. Well done.

Rude and incompetent. Senior staff don't have a clue what's going on and cannot perform basic customer service functions. Junior staff are helpful but often don't know what to do beyond sending a package. I run a business and get packages delivered there routinely, my time is valuable so I gladly pay for a service that helps keep me efficient. However efficient is not my experience at this location. I visit to get my packages and the staff often fail to give me all of them, resulting in another trip... Even though I ask them, is this everything? I get home and have to call them to find the other packages. If it's a new person, they're frequently dumbfounded and surprised at how easily they found the missing package. If it's a senior person like Linda, I'm treated with disdain when I ask for help finding the rest of my packages. Service I can rely on! The staff is friendly and efficient. Lines can get long at peak hours, but I think Chattanooga is starting to outgrow a one UPS Store operation. We really need a UPS location closer to downtown.

So upset! Shipped two boxes to my brother in NY for Christmas. One made it, one did not. However, my brother did receive a temurpedic pillow with the shipping label from my lost package that I had wrapped in brown paper!!! Went to UPS to let them know what happened. They told me they had 8 days to find it and if not I could make a claim. Fast forward to today the lost package made it back to my house! Great! So I went back to UPS to ship it again. They made me pay for shipping AGAIN, this was after to speaking with the manager. So I’ve paid $90 to ship two packages, (one twice). Next time I’ll go to the USPS or FedEx. NEVER AGAIN!
