I used to come here with my mom and dad years ago and it definitely brings back some good childhood memories.. their food is good but customer service not so much; I ordered a combo and the guy didn’t make sure I had utensils and just like walked off after taking my payment. No thank you , not making sure I had had my sauce for my fritter or nothing. Just weird like I’m not going back

I go here to get all my tea spices. They got all the spices and flours here. As well as hot food and drinks. Also found these rice and chickpea chips called chekalu, they're so good.

Literally the best Indian food in LA. The family that works there is so incredibly nice and welcoming. They always pile up the portions and it is impossible to leave hungry. I’ve eaten here since around 2012 and have never been disappointed. If you don’t know much about Indian food, they’ll gladly help you pick out a meal you’ll love. Also, they accept EBT for anyone wondering. India Sweets and Spices will always have a place in my heart!

On my first visit to India Sweets & Spices, I had a great experience. It seems that a majority of people that came during my visit came for the food. It is quite a small, cramped grocery store but my review focuses on the restaurant portion. It is a pick and chose menu where you can see the prepared dishes before you pick them for your plate. I tried the Mutter Paneer and the Jack Fruit Curry which were both pretty good. It came with rice and 1 roti. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. The Mutter Paneer did have an odd aftertaste but maybe that is the way they flavor it here.

Yes! You can find camphor and other puja and devotional supplies in the grocery or the sister store "Steffi's boutique" a few doors down the block on Venice Blvd.
