I came to India's restaurant for the lunch buffet. I called in advance and spoke to a gentleman and asked what was included in the buffet. He was very short, not so friendly, told me they have a lot of things, just come and hung up the phone. So I got in my car and drove down there. He was rude but who cares,.I don't have to sit and eat with him lol. When I got there I knew it was him greeting me. He offered me a booth and then I went straight to the buffet, get right down to business. The buffet was better than I expected. They had a decent amount of options of food. They had salad but I didn't even start there. I went straight for the meats. I started off with the chicken tikka masala, two lamb dishes, and a vegetarian dish. All of them were very good for buffet food. My second trip was more of the Lamb and more vegetarian options. The lamb had a lot of bones in it I'm not sure of the dishes name but it was actually very good, probably my favorite thing there. The chicken tikka masala was a little bit spicy however I like it more on the sweeter side but it was still good. For dessert I had their rice pudding and fruit pudding, both were incredible. The fruit pudding was a mango base with chunks of fruit inside, I loved it so much I had two servings of it. You can sit there and eat all you want for $17.99 which is I think a great deal. And it includes naan bread and free drinks. The woman who was helping and greeting people was much more friendly than the guy. She even invited me to stay with her family in India lol. If you're looking for a good Indian buffet then I would definitely recommend this place. India's restaurant is at the corner of Fountain and Hoover, about 6 minutes east of Hollywood. They're located in a mini strip mall with self parking on site including handicap parking spots.

It was my 1st time in an Indian restaurant like this 1. Service is friendly and the food is so good. Especially the Alu Samosa since I always wanted to try it, but it's definitely so good. Even the Mango Lassi. So, I highly recommend this place.

Great place for some authentic Indian food. The place is not upscale but if you are looking for truly delicious food then this is the place to be. Although the looks from outside may not seem the best, the seating inside is very comfortable. I ate here after a long day of touring LA and the food was a perfect end to the day with the fast service and great quantity.

Last time I was there, we were on lock down. No outside dining. I did see a cozy place to eat if it wasn't lock down. If you can't eat there they do have lots of delicious menu to go. This is my to go for assorted appetizer. Samosa to die for. The combos are great.
Call the restaurant directly, plz
