The scheduling at this place is a complete NIGHTMARE. Picture yourself fighting cancer…. Trying to get your weekly infusions/injections scheduled - Moore’s is so busy, they send you to Komen as “overflow”. Which is fine…. No big deal BUT…. Komen schedulers won’t schedule you bc you’re a Moore’s patient…. And Moore’s won’t schedule you bc they’re overbooked (meaning they’re going to ship you to Komen ANYWAYS). But neither will schedule you. So you’re going into every week of treatment NOT knowing where and when your next appointment will be… just waiting/hoping/praying someone will contact you. Oh and when heavens gates open up and you actually get a call … it’s last minute and you’re a captive audience to whatever they give you bc it’s literally the only appointment. Even though you tried and tried to get appointments scheduled ahead of time to avoid the problem in the first place… Oh and don’t get me started in parking. Komen wont give you a infusion parking code bc you’re a Moore’s patient…. And Moore’s won’t give you one bc they’re gonna ship you to Komen and you have to get the code from them 🤯 round and round we go… only to get no code I CANNOT believe a reputable establishment like this puts cancer patient through this nightmare- very cruel

I went to the white tents at Moore center today. I called Lyft three times for a pick up and each time the driver could not find me. My technician Valerie was kind enough to walk me to Moore Center As I am slightly disabled. She went far above and beyond anything she had to do and I was greatly appreciative

UCSD at first can be daunting to get around because it is so expansive. However the facility has relatively good signage and is reasonably easy to find your way around after some familiarization. An exceptional number of the staff are willing to help with directions and locations. Medical staff is well trained for the most part. Some individuals are outstanding and exemplary. I have had good service and support especially in the Radiation Oncology department. The entire staff are outstanding!

Everyone is kind, helpful and understanding. I am a frequent patient at the infusion center, and while they can get pretty busy, they always ask if there's anything I need, from pillows, juice and crackers to making sure my appointments are scheduled. Always concerned for my comfort. Great team. I also had a concern over a billing misunderstanding and they (the woman I called while getting an infusion, I'm so sorry I do not remember her name) bent over backwards to reassure me that it would all be taken care of so that I wouldn't have to worry. She was very concerned for my well being and anxiety. So helpful and understanding of the stress while being sick and having treatment at their facility.

Contact Moore's cancer center, they will be able to help you.
Yes
Not pet friendly but bona fide service animals are ok. But NOT pets or even so-called therapy dogs.

Not sure, being the mother that is supporting my daughter every step of the way, i would love to offer some words...Stay Strong, and remember that God's in charge here, and even when the doctor's have done all that they can do, God Specializes in things thought to be impossible! Love you, God Bless
You'd have to call to find out.
