This is not the first time that I have a humiliating experience in this store. I am coming there to shop Russian deli and I love the store and the produce. But… guys.. you need to work on your customer service.. I just walked in and I was the only client in the store and 2 workers in the deli department continuously kept ignoring me while I am standing and waiting. Two ladies were looking at me like I came to bother them, nobody offered help. Since this is not the first time and I felt very frustrated and just walked out. I will never return to this place.

The sales person in meat department is awful liar. I came on on 6/18 to buy some kolbasa. The lady pulled the new kolbasa and I specially said “don’t cut me from the very end”, she said “I won’t, we don’t sell the edge”. I came home, she put me EXACTLY the edge piece and it taste was not as good as usual. Are you stupid for not listening or you still think we are in Soviet Union? Terrible customer service and the worst Russian store. Maybe if you try to listen to customers and service people in American way things would improve.

Be aware at the register; they will try to rob you if you don't pay attention. It happened to me at least 3 time in a row with very poor explanation why they do that.

Writing this after inhaling some Rasputin Plov for lunch - which I stored in the freezer for lazy lunches like today...yum! This deli is a favorite stop for my family when we gather in SoCal for family gatherings. We most recently stocked up on "snacks" for Thanksgiving week... On Thanksgiving day there were NO LINES at 9:30AM and all items were well stocked. Some of our favorite things.... Plov (Baked veal + rice) - Hands down our #1 love. A large container is about $20 and it's worth every penny. The rice is perfectly flavored. We just learned to freeze it for lazy microwave lunches like today. Babaganoush (Eggplant spread) - Takes as good as the one I routinely purchased in my local Deli in NYC...addicting little snack with crackers. Beef Stroganoff - SO good with rice. Super flavorful...and love the bits of mushrooms soaked in the sauce. Smoked Salmon Trout - Yes, that's really what it's called. Get it sliced. Good on toast! Now I want to go back to get more babaganoush...
