I gave them 40 pounds of Iron and only received $1.90 for it....They don’t have the price for iron up there and also you have to speak with the manager if you start asking too much.... And they will Rip you off for your Aluminum

Update with paper prices below: first of all stay away from active... huge complete rip off, period. They do not give pricing over the phone to lure you in and they do not pay more than anyone in the valley like there huge advertising sign says. Important sidenote: NO CASH paid out, check only. Big time crooks taking advantage of people that don't know math. They told me they pay 175 a ton for steel which when I asked the price per pound they said around 7 cents. I unloaded 230 pounds of steel and 90 pounds of cardboard. I was given $13.35 which should have been $16.01 Just for the steel. At the 175 per ton payout i was initially told. They pay .20 per lb for clean aluminum and stainless steel right now if anyone calls and gets the same response that i did. You know the rest. Peace! Cardboard is $50 bucks a ton. White office ledger paper is $100 colored paper or magazine or books are also $50 bucks
