We had our daughter's birthday party there and the kids enjoyed it so much. Diana was very helpful with guiding the kids on what they should do what they should avoid to make their piece come out nice. The place is big and clean, the kids were not rushed. They made space for us on the countertops for food etc and helped with clean up. They had enough space for parents to hang out as well. They have a huge selection of items to choose from. The entire experience with them was very pleasant.

Freaking awesome. We used to go to the Color Me Mine by our house, but now we go out of our way to visit In The Kiln for the amazingly knowledgeable staff, great selection, and awesome prices. I’m seriously in love with this place and drag everyone here! Whether you’re super artsy or not, there’s a fun style for everyone. My husband didn’t like painting at all until we came here and he learned about stoneware. Now our yard is full of pots!

My wife took a ceramics class in college and we stored an unfinished project of hers in our garage for over 10 years. Finally, I decided that I'd like to finish it for her and I'm so glad that I went to In The Kiln. They took excellent care in determining exactly the type of clay and whether or not it could be fired (so that the piece did not explode in the kiln), before doing the final firing and glaze. It really turned out beautifully and I'm so happy to be able to surprise my wife with her finished vase from college. Thank you so much for making this happen, Dianna--you were such a great help! :) It's such a creative space and I couldn't believe how many options they had AND at such an affordable price. I've been to some similar places in the past but it's nothing like what they offer at In The Kiln. I really appreciate the service and the special care they gave me in taking care of this important project. I'm also very thankful that the vase is done before Valentine's Day! Now, I just need to stop off and pick up some flowers to surprise my wife with her gift that "we" worked on together! I will definitely be back to do some more projects. I do think this would be a really great place for a creative date or for families to enjoy. This is a good local business that we should all support!

They literally have thousands of any thing you can imagine. If it's something in the back, dont expect it to be painted same day because they will have to sand and prep it. If you can be patient you will find your perfect peice.

Do they have actual pottery classes to make your own? Not just painting already made pottery.

In The Kiln is more than just painting fired pieces (bisque). We use liquid clay to create over 12,000 different items that are available in clay form (greenware) or in bisque. We also offer blocks of clay, paints, and firing services to create your own masterpiece. We offer monthly Clay Club classes focusing on combining greenware and hand built clay objects using various techniques.
