Wish I could give them 0 stars. I've tried multiple times to get in touch with them via phone, as I live on the other side of the country, and cannot get in touch at all. I paid them off over 4 years ago and since then they have sold my "debt" to 2 different collections agencies (both of whom are trying to collect the same paid off debt) and I can't get in touch with anyone to fix their issue (which I shouldn't have to do in the first place). Their online payment system is broken (I hope) or they are just trying to scam people out of money (more likely) this place is AWFUL.

After a speeding ticket I was trying to pay wasn't in the system, I was unsure what steps needed to be taken. I reached out to the traffic division by phone and spoke with a lovely representative named Andy. She was informative and helpful in every question I had.... Worth the hour long hold time, thank you again Andy for all your incite and assistance.

I set up a payment plan with my judge since I moved out of state with a citation. He accepted my request but I got no further information on my payment plan, not sure if it’s common sense that you only get a 3 day grace period for late payments I thought it was standard 15. I usually pay early but this month I had to stretch and didn’t go over 5 days, or even into the next month, before calling in to pay my balance. The day I was ready to put extra down for a late payment was the same day they had already sent it in to collections. Thanks.

Can I give 0 stars? The "service" this place gives to the community shows exactly what is wrong with our government. Nothing works like they state it should. If you have to call and speak to a clerk, don't bother. You can call at 10:00 AM, be on hold for an hour and a half, and at 11:30 they will disconnect your call and you will not speak to anyone. It would be more efficient taking time off work and waiting in a long line for two of the slowest traffic clerks you could ever imagine. I think the court tells their employees to take slower steps and not work too fast because you can literally see it. Also, the website is always down. I go to make my traffic payment and hey, they servers are down for sdcourt.gov… again. Then I call to try to pay my fine, one number (East County Division) provides no help and routes you to an "automated service" that isn't automated at all because it puts you on hold saying "Your call will be answered in the order it was received." Thanks for the service, you really are a shining example for the people. What a joke.

Evictions are only handled downtown
You can’t do it online. You have to go in
Yes, go to the first floor to the business office right next to the elevators. If you need help filling out the forms go to the second floor to the facilitator's office.

You’d need to speak with the Sheriffs department and get a court order for it.
