My appointment was 11am on 5/21 photographer was 10 min late then we were rushing, my 2 teenagers did not enjoy the rush vibe- then the photographer told them “if you don’t the picture that’s because of you!!” (After my kids requested another pose). It was too early to argue back with her, plus I wanted to avoid her since she smelled like an ash tray. Luckily the lady up front was very friendly, very patient helping us choose the sheets. Recommend doing 20 minutes schedules, instead of 15min, if customers are going to spend $300 on pictures we don’t need a rude rush experience on our children!!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I had a Groupon that I paid $30 for which apparently only covered 50% of the photography session and although the Groupon stated it would print one pose, I never received a call to come pick up the ONE pose I chose. I also ended up paying an additional $130 for the digital pictures because compared to the package prices of having them printed it was cheaper believe it or not. The session couldn't have lasted more than 20 minutes in an empty studio with the “smoker voice photographer" that probably scares kids instead of helping them smile. She only took a total of 9 poses that without enhancements looked horrible but looked okay once the enhancements were made which is one of the only reasons I paid for those horrible pictures besides already spending money on the Groupon and wasting my time! Not only did I receive the version of the pictures that weren't enhanced on my digital album but when I called to check on the prints, apparently they weren't included in my total... So what exactly did I pay $130 in addition to the $30 "discounted session". This has literally been the worst Experience I've ever had!!! I thought other places I went to were bad but this studio gives them a run for their money! I've used the Westshore JCPenney since my kids were smaller and even had a membership but I will never spend another penny here again!!! I will continue to use my family photographer that while costs a little bit more, the quality of my pictures are worth it. May I also add that when you offer someone digital photography like other studios I expect to receive it on some kind of thumb drive or even a digital file not on SHUTTERFLY where I'm forced to pay additional fees if I want to print them and even bigger shipping fee!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

They overbooked appointments too close to back. Everything felt rushed and I would have liked more time taking the photos. For many I felt they did not check for open eyes, hair position, face angle. So there were several photos that came out wrong which was very distressful. Since people are paying quite a bit for photos I think it is important to give them more than 15-20 minutes of time being photographed. Also, I noticed that when looking at the images they quickly plug in templates rather than give you time to browse them first. They did seem very knowledgable about photography and ordering the photos. I would appreciate it though if they focused on quality versus quantity. Schedule less per day. The checkout process was smooth and I will pick up my photos soon, but make sure to check you have smoothed your hair or fixed a shirt, they will not take note of these things. Also, be straightforward with ideas you have, they have plenty of great ones but they also were able to let me do a pose of my own which was nice.
