I can't say enough about this local sod company! I searched for sod installation near me and found Quality Sod & Landscape Solutions and I'm glad I did! I got Bahia sod after checking the sod installation cost with a few other sod companies in Spring Hill. From the first phone call to the follow up calls to make sure the new sod is doing good, the customer service has been excellent! My new grass looks amazing! I didnt check the reviews before dealing with this company, BIG mistake. 1.53 /5 rating at the BBB, and 2.5/5 on Angie's List. Way over priced, and desperate for business. On Facebook they even proudly say they can install the next day, red flag! They obviously aren't busy and need work. Had someone come unannounced 11 times after I got my first estimate. Literally begging for business. Ended up with 7 different estimates and all were higher than other companies. I asked the salesman to leave me alone after the 2nd and that didn't stop them from coming back, and they would show up with no notice. Any further contact and I will be filing for an order of protection.

Company keeps telling me this grass is different and it will green up where it was plugged - the plugs were put in the end of March and they are just as dead as can be - look like old straw - they are not going to green up until I throw seed on them. Update: Quality Sod agreed that I had a legit claim and they came out and plugged the trenches with sod. But it has now been a few months and the sod plugs are all still dead while the rest of the yard is green. The sod is also a mixture of different grass types. They did the sod for my new house and it is most definitely the worst job I have ever seen. I pulled two large logs out from under the sod after it was laid. My entire yard has trenches, gaps and holes. Both the mowing company and Truegreen has commented that they have never seen such a bad sod job before. I have also been told I should expect to have to replace it all when it dies. Also very full of weeds and other grasses. Maybe I just got the builders special??

Very good company. Robert the sales rep has a great personality with excellent knowledge of the industry and gave us a good honest price. The workers worked hard and did exactly what we wanted in cutting and raking the old sod, adding some top soil and laying the sod. The sod looks great a month and a half later.
