The ushers are NOT weird; they are theater lovers, volunteers and great people. The shows are fantastic whether the main fare or the summer musicals. Ventura is lucky to have this theater and theater troop on our Main Street. I just saw Om The Town and the energy was through the roof, the dancing and singing was excellent. Many of the theater students have been studying theater and dance -- and performing for over a decade.

This is an excellent theater with quality, professional acting. Saw the production Sylvia recently and that was no exception. Ticket purchasers should be aware however that there is excessive language in this show, so although the play is described as a "sweet story" about an "adorable mutt," this is not a show for the whole family. It's unfortunate as the acting is so top notch that the repeated use of profanity isn't necessary or clever. We will certainly attend this theater again, but if unfamiliar with the script may have to inquire beforehand as to content.
