My first time being here, wonderful and friendly staff, I was given the wrong address, but they were able to still help me out. Jennifer Ortiz was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything!! 😁 Highly recommend to anyone looking for great dental work from lovely people!

TL;DR Unprofessional and unethical. I was rescheduled the day of my appointment, then misdiagnosed, and told I would need multiple procedures that turned out to be unnecessary when I got a second opinion. My experience was rough from the start -- I showed up for my appointment and they told me they had been unable to contact my insurance, but that I could come back the next day. I wasn't excited to take more time off work, but I said okay. I called the next morning just before leaving, and they assured me they would start calling insurance soon. Despite having to reschedule me before, they had made no attempt to ensure the same thing wouldn't happen again. I finally got to my appointment, and while I was called in pretty quickly, they kept leaving me in the chair. They were apparently very short staffed, so I was there for around 3 hours to receive x-rays and a cleaning. I was told that I needed my wisdom teeth out, and that it was very strongly recommended that I get a bone graft (an extra $1000 on top of my extractions and anesthesia) or my teeth may shift dramatically. They also said I would need seven fillings, an evaluation with a gum specialist, and repeatedly mentioned braces/an orthodontist consultant despite the fact that I had braces and continue to wear my retainer without issues. All of this felt off, so I started looking into it before scheduling another appointment. I saw that many dentists recommend against a bone graft for wisdom teeth, and that Western Dental has a reputation for shady practices, so I decided to go somewhere for a second opinion. Right off the bat, they were puzzled when I mentioned a bone graft and asked why that would be necessary. They said bone grafts aren't necessary if you aren't looking to get an implant, never mentioned my gums or braces, and -- the kicker -- I have zero cavities. The dentist and assistant were incredulous at the treatment recommendations I had received, and when I mentioned it had been at Western Dental, told me that explained a lot and that they are well-known for their unethical practices. I know their prices are low, but they're able to do that because they will push you into additional, unnecessary procedures. I was happy that I had found a dentist with whom I could get an appointment quickly, but now I see why. I'm not one to post reviews, but my whole experience here was ridiculously predatory. Apparently Western Dental as a whole has a reputation for shady practices, and I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.

This has been the WORST experience ever. I never write reviews but they owe me money back and will not return phone calls, claim they are directing my account to someone who can resolve it and actually didn't direct me to anyone. I was scheduled for 3 wisdom tooth extractions and 1 bone graft. I paid upfront, which I thought was odd, and went to wait for my appointment. I was 30 minutes early. After waiting 2 and a half hours, I saw 3 people leave due to waiting for 4 hours or more. I work 2 full time jobs. I don't have time like that to wait around. They already had my money at this point for the procedure. Said they can't refund it right away and that they can reschedule for next weekend. I said ok. Next weekend, I filled out the paperwork for 3 wisdom tooth extractions and 1 bone graft. They never told me that I couldn't get all of that done that day. The surgeon was not there. Only the doctor and he cannot extract more than one tooth. I told them I would have to wait a few months to reschedule due to my jobs. They said they would refund me the difference between getting all 3 pulled vs the 1 that they actually pulled. I got a $20 refund! THAT is NOT the difference between getting 3 done vs getting 1 done. They were supposed to escalate the refund situation months ago and never have. I'm going to the BBB.

Amazing and that's something different considering it's the dentist haha. My experience was wonderful. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit. The staff were amazing especially OSCAR. He did my x-rays and assisted with my cleaning and I am extremely grateful. He was so helpful and caring 💜💜. Thank you
