The location is 10 mins from Rainbow River State Park.....Blue Gator restaurant a few steps across the parking lot. The rooms are as pictured...nicely remodeled. The beds are comfy and linens are soft and very clean. Room was squeaky clean...and had a microwave, coffee maker,toiletries and plenty of towels. Check in was a breeze....the motel office is located in the Angelers bait and tackle shop to the right as you pull in. Service was fast and friendly.

We really liked the property. We had dinner at the restaurant on site, everyone was friendly. The food was decent. We came for our anniversary on Sunday, planning to go to Rainbow Springs on Monday, unfortunately my husband had a problem with his back to the point of a visit to the ER. I walked over to the office in tears at 7am Monday morning explaining to Stan that under the circumstances, we were going to have to leave a day early without visiting the springs. I asked if there was any possibility of a credit for a future stay, he said he couldn’t promise anything but the owner was pretty accommodating. We left at 8am Monday to go to the emergency room. He has an MRI scheduled now. I called back on Tuesday and was told he hadn’t seen owner yet. I called again yesterday, 8 days later and was told sorry, we didn’t rent your room! We have a 7 day cancellation policy. I understand this but life happens so I’ll take my loss but also will not be spending my hard earned money here again.

We just stayed the night here and it was great! The people are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are newly remodeled, great showers and beds and very clean! The restaurant was great too! Too bad we were just passing through we would have liked to take a boat tour. We will definitely stop here again.

Couldn't have asked for a better time. The staff was awesome, super helpful and were so accommodating. We will for sure be back for another boat rental/overnight stay and the great restaurant food. Thank you for a great experience! My family loved it!
