Amazing art museum! Easy to get lost and staff is super helpful. However the exhibits feel well curated and were thought provoking. Easy to spend HOURS here

Visited during the Chinese New Year Festival so admission was free and included museum access! It was fun and they had interactive activities good for families like lantern making, etc. The garden area was really nice. I will need to check out the night events and more of the museum next time. Heads up, they do require to show proof of COVID vaccination (even just photo proof) or a 72hr negative COVID test and I believe you are required to pre register on their website.

Enjoyed visiting, super modern yet many of the displays are From the old age. The integration of the 2 is great. The museum consists of 3 floors serviced by a huge elevator and a nicely decorated staircase. The also have a restaurant and a boutique shop. I mostly enjoyed the Asian artifacts.

Hi Diane! The walk from the Brightline to the Museum is about a 20 minute walk, definitely doable, as the route is completely paved, though is not consistently shaded. There is a free ride company available call "circuit" they run much like uber in which you can download the app and call a free ride to your location. They typically run from 11am - 9pm daily.
Active military and their families with ID are always free according to the Norton museum website. And thank you for your service.
You can run through it all in an hour if you have a companion who is a complete bummer and walks by priceless works of art like they're shopping for lumber at Home Depot.
Free on Friday and Saturday but 18 any other day
Hi Idelle! We do not provide headphones, the audio tour is conveniently available on your personal mobile device. Feel free to ask Visitor Engagement how to access the tour on your device or refer to the visitor guide for assistance.

I'm so sorry you that happened to you. I've never had a bad experience at the Norton. You should contact the security manager and let him know what happened. No one should feel threatened while attending an event at the museum.
Norton Museum of Art doesn't have anything scheduled on their calendar for the 4th of July. They are probably closed for the holiday.

No. Named after Ralph Norton. He and his wife collected fine art and started the Norton Gallery and School of Art in WPB. My parents started taking me to this when I was 4-5 years old. Very fond memories. Opened in 1941.

There is also a coffee bar at the Norton in which guests can purchase a selection of pastries that are made fresh at the Restaurant; along with beverages. On Friday evenings both the Restaurant and Coffee Bar are open, along with an additional concession located on the colonnade where guests can order light bites and drinks.

Hi Charles, as stated below the Museums complimentary parking lot is located across the street at 1501 South Dixie Hwy. pace is limited and on busy days the lot can fill. Alternatives include street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, and limited 2-hour metered parking owned by the City of West Palm Beach on Diana Way and Acteon Way, on the east side of the Museum. The closest public garage is the Hibiscus Parking Garage at City Place.
Truly I am not sure. One call would answer your question. Good luck. Just called and "the museum is free to the public on Fridays and Saturdays."
It's in the West parking lot. From okeechobee head south on Dixie then just past the cemetery on the west side you will see the pull in for parking it's in there
