I dropped a camera off for repair - only thing wrong was the automatic film rewind stopped working. I was told at the time that it would take a week or so. 2-3 weeks later after hearing nothing back, I called them & was told that they estimated 5-6 weeks because they had to order a part. Ok - it would have been nice to have been informed of that, but fine. Then about a month later I called & was told that they were NOT able to find the part & that they would re-assemble it and return it to me. Now it doesn't even turn on any longer. So to sum up - they held onto it for 1.5 months, didn't fix it, re-assembled it, & returned it to me in WORSE condition than I left it. Avoid. EDIT: After their response - it wasn't communicated to me (there was zero communication unless I called them) that there were shutter speed issues, but that's immaterial to my issue. The issue is that I dropped off a functioning camera (that couldn't rewind & may have had shutter speed issues) & received a brick back.

Brought a camera in that was having issue with the advance working. They took a look at it and were able to fix it on the spot! I will definitely be bringing my cameras back here for any needed repairs!

The only camera repair shop in town. Fair prices. Quick, Great service. I was unable to pick up my camera when it was done and they hung onto it for me until I could come get it. They fixed my camera without any issues. Fun little Shop with lots of old cameras to look at as well as shop for. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Foster's!

I read some of the reviews prior to taking my DLSR camera here for repair. I was just a bit concerned with some of the negative reviews, however, I took my camera here anyway. My first impression was, whaaat?? Nasty mean lady at the front office whaaat ??? The lady was VERY pleasant! Easy to talk with, and efficient. I was told that it would take 3-4 weeks to get this repaired, however, I could move to the front of the line for a $25 fee. This could still take up to a week to repair. Well, like many of us, I wanted my camera back kind of quickly. I agreed to the extra $25 charge and 2 days later, not one week, I have my camera! The issues are fixed, testing it the issues I brought it in for were repaired. I questioned how many shutter actuations I had on the camera after I picked it up. The same lady asked the technician. He said he could check it out right away, and he did! I am new to the area and am VERY happy I brought my camera here for repair! And YES, I would/will bring it back if I need additional repairs done! YES, I recommend them! I am thinking the negative reviews were from people who had some other issues that they wanted to blame someone for and unloaded those issued here.....my experience says, IGNORE those comments. This was the right choice for my camera repair!!
