Wonderful place to bring the kids, young and old. We brought our 6, 8, and 13 years Olds and they all had a wonderful time. The aquarium exhibit was fantastic and had a huge variety of fish and creatures. The space and science exhibits were probably my kids' favorites because there was so much to do. Great veteran's discount, good food selection, wonderful variety of exhibits!

It was very cool. Very interesting displays and a cool show. They have things outside for the kids to play and a splash zone if they have bathing suits. Science is literally on everything they play with. Super kid friendly. Also....veterans! It is a 100% discount for up to 4 people including the vet. That was an inviting surprise. We didn't know. Loved it all around.

The science center is a new family favorite. The change the exhibits every few months, and There is always so much to do. The hand -on activities are the best. They have an outside splash park, mini golf, and a small Cafe. We have a membership. It is Definitely worth it if you go 2-3 times a year. Choose one that fits perfectly for your family. Can't wait to go back.

Very informative for all ages! We went to a birthday party. The party was in a private room for 2hours and after the kids explored the museum. The outside area was also very nice. My kids had a lot of fun at the splash area. Perfect for those who love dinosaurs!!

$15 adults, $11 kids, $13 seniors. Planetarium and golf course additional charge
Thers is a small cafe. Prices are about what you pay at any museum or zoo. Discount if you are a member.
Yes, traveling exhibit if I'm not mistaken. Good luck
Not at all
Notice how nobody has an answer when you ask for something free interesting indeed
Yes

They are currently displaying a Lego exhibit until September, i haven't heard anything about a dinosaur display.
Admission is free on the first weekend of the month
I've seen people bring food, but there's only a few picnic tables outside to eat. A better option, and what I've done, is pack a picnic and head across the street to Dreher park. It's a beautiful park.
Adults are $5, children, 3-12 are $3, members are FREE, Seniors are $5
Don't recall seeing one, but everything inside could be paid with a credit card.
If you're local a year pass is awesome, admission is kind of pricey, so a year pass if you use it 3 times you've made your money back. Especially if you've got kiddos, plus you'll get free Amidon to all planetarium shows, first admission to special exhibits abs discounts on after hours activities like laser light shows, holiday events etc.
Last I saw it was ~$19 for adults and around ~$15 for kids each.
I believe it was around $17 but when I went children were half off and around.
15.95 for 60+, here is the link with the info https://www.sfsciencecenter.org/plan-your-visit
$17 For Adults. Children it's much less but I don't remember the exact cost.
Certain stations inside are closed: the outdoor climbing playground, everything except the water table is closed in the room for under 6 years --- but no rubber duckies.
20$, but, it can take a day to see
Sorry I don't remember the kids price, $20 an adult. Check their website, because they have monthly specials. Kids free, family's free, all kinds of deals. Good luck.
Yes, 20$. But there is a lot to do. Could spend 4 -6 hours there. Good luck
Not sure, I have a pass but I think it is just under $20 for an adult, a lot to do there,
$17.95 adult. Good luck
Yes, There is a playground area for kids to play.
I don't think so but I've been wrong before, I suggest calling and asking
It is predominantly meant to educate children. Most of the stuff is pretty boring after the 2nd visit. The special exhibits are usually more interesting. The mini golf course is great fun for adults and children.
The lots immediately across the street and to the side fill up fast, but there are plenty of extra spaces along the road leading up to the building. You just have a walk a minute or two
It depends on the ages but adults are $18 and children can get in for free if they get an A in science. Double check before going.
I paid 2 adults and one child, almost $ 60 with tickets for the planetarium. The cost separately I do not remember.
We've been memberships since my oldest son was 6 months old (over 5 years) and all of my children have loved it even pre-1year. We did normal go during non-peak times so that older kids didn't run over them.
Hi Jazmyne, Can you please provide more information concerning the spot you are interested in? Thank you
Yes it is
Normal hours, 10am-6pm.
Pretty sure dogs of any size are not allowed in the science museum. Unless it's a working dog.
