THEY STEAL MASKS/ anything international packages. They work as a team. Many yelp reviews staying that also many people are Opened and missing packages. 5/27/20 We missed the package EB023967874KR: it was a package of 36 face masks. The postman left a missed package slip on our Restaurant door that said to pick it up from post office. 5/28/20 My dad went to pick up the package at the 94122 - this post office . The post office did not have the package. 5/29/20 My dad to the this (irving & 22nd) post office again. The same man that was working at the counter on 5/28 he gave my dad the supervisor's phone number and told my dad to call the supervisor instead. My dad was patient and willing to return since we are aware that post offices are busy due to COVID-19. 6/1/20 My dad returned to the post office again to pick up his package. The woman who was working at the counter looked for the package for about 10 minutes. She said it wasn't at the post office and track the package. She seemed to think the situation was weird and gave us the Supervisor's number again and took down my dad's name and number. The same afternoon, the postman ( the post office and himself would not give out his name) came to the restaurant and dropped our paper mails only. So my dad stopped him and asked for our package. The postman started complaining about how busy he was from COVID-19 and that he would deliver the package on June 4th instead. 6/2/20 the postman returned to our restaurant and told my dad that he would deliver our package on June 3rd instead of 6/4 They exchanged the times that they were free, and the postman said he would come by 4pm on 6/4. On 6/3/20 the postman came to our restaurant again around 3pm (3:10). The package seems to be opened (tape on the side was loose) so my dad questioned him, if he can open the package together - The postman got defensive and angry and took the package away from my dad and told my dad to pick it up directly from the post office. We have been trying to get in contact with the supervisor on multiple occasions. We have left messages and phone calls. Doesn't work. 6/4 I had to stepped in, I asked to speak to a manager, they don’t have one only in San Francisco downtown location. Delivery man also works in downtown location. No names can be given. This isn't just about the package or accusing the postman of potentially stealing our package. it's about the integrity of the postman and the supervisor( to be honest not even sure this person is the right supervisor). It's about discrimination and mistreatment. This one Irving location is covering each for each other to steal people packages. Its about how USPS government workers are refusing to communicate and understand minorities who do not have access to the English language. We refuse to stay silent in this matter as this incident was horrible mishandled by USPS and the supervisor of the this post office. This Irving location was teaming up covering for each other stealing people's goods on the side during Covid-19. Imagine 1-2 packages per day- wow that's already 60 boxes since they are open on sundays too right now. I'm here but to file a complaint, hoping I hear back from USPS SF headquarters or who ever. (Not that they don't care, they barely pay their employees that's why this is keep happening) Bottom line I went in got my package after explaining my dad's situation today 6/4/20 @4:03pm. This time package was double sealed looks like mail man sealed it back up.

I’ve had no issues with the post office— the staff are helpful and service tends to be quick. The only thing that sucks is when there aren’t that many people working in the booths so the line gets long.

They returned my Priority Mail Express International package after less than 24 hrs. of hold vs. 5 days of hold according to USPS policy. It is very costly for me and my business. I called USPS, and nobody knew why they did that and admitted it was their wrong doing but offered nothing to correct it. This post office consistently gets terrible reviews and abuses our tax dollars. I am wondering what else can we do about them beside writing bad reviews?

I like the people who work here a lot actually. THey might be slow sometimes but they do their best to be efficient. So I want to give them my appreciation for that first. But this specific Post office location have delivered about 15 of my shipments late to my paying customers who were about to cancel their orders with me because they thought I had not shipped their items. and then 5 shipments there were serious issues like the dress I shipped to a client who was going to wear it to a wedding that weekend... shipped it on Monday morning. The dress had not even been SCANNED until that Friday. And then did not show up at her post office for pickup for another week & 1/2 and when it DID finally arrive at her post office it showed it had been picked up by some random person at an hour that the post office had not even opened their doors at. Like at 6am it showed the dress had been picked up by Jane Doe. ANd this last dress shows it has been "shipped" and the tracking number says that the dress NEVER LEFT THE IRVING STREET POST OFFICE building. But no one there seems to be able to go back and look for it for me. And it has been 1 MONTH .... 1 MONTH since I originally shipped this dress to a client. This post office location? or something is REALLY off here. I have sold and shipped successfully 500 shipments so far in my business and it has only been at this location in the past 2-3 months that I have had some serious issues with disappearing or late arriving packages sent by priority 3 day mail. 2 weeks for 3 day priority mail.. It has hurt my business quite a bit. If you have money on the line with the shipments you are sending out? I would go to another USPS location. This has been a painful experience for me. I like the people here. I do. I am so sorry guys! But I just don't want anyone else to loose money and risk their business reputations until something is fixed - whatever that may be - at this location on 22nd street @ Irving. I have also heard from other people in the neighborhood. They have had 2 - 3 packages lost at this USPS location as well. THe mail box pick ups are all fine. It is only when people go INTO the USPS store and shipped things that they have disappeared. Right?
