We don't see the current situation as a housing bubble for a number of reasons. Typically people are worried that we're in a similar crisis to the 2008 crash. Our current situation is nothing like that time period. The reason for high prices is simply a supply and demand problem. There aren't as many homes available on the market that there would be normally. Also, in 2008, a high number of families were highly leveraged with their finances. Now, we have a market where home owners are sitting on hundreds of thousands of dollars in equity due to the raising values.
