Absolutely awful customer service served with arrogance. Seems to use “the best record store in LA” as their catchphrase when it comes to anything, including taking responsibility for their unnecessary rudeness.

I was looking to sell Vinyl Records decided to take them to"The Record Parlour"in Hollywood. Parking was nasty and I had to use a meter and lug the box to the store. I had to ask the man if he worked there cause he gave me no greeting. I asked if he would be interested in any of the records. He quickly went through them in a few minutes their were 66 records he offered $40 for the entire collection. That amounted to 60 cents per vinyl. That seemed low to me so I said I will check what Amoeba Music will offer since it was about a three minute drive away. I said I will come back if they have the best offer. The man then used pressure tactics on me and said if I returned the offer would no longer stand. I explained I was selling them as a collection so nothing would change, he then counted the amount of records so he would know the collection size if I returned. I then went to Amoeba Music with the exact same records. They took a full half hour instead of three minutes to go over the collection before giving an offer. Amoeba Music offered $135 cash or $180 store credit. I took the cash . Seems pretty shady what The Record Parlor did. Please check elsewhere if you’re a seller. Seemed like a neat store if you’re a buyer had some $1.98 bins and you might get something neat. Just don’t like that Amoeba Music gave me over three times more than the The record parlour, the offers should have been competitive. I have no doubt that I will be personally attacked called rude or otherwise defamed, as is anyone who gives this store a low star rating.

Great place! Amazing selection, great and chill ambiance- great finds -
A-to-the-O !
Pretty well set up record store in the Hollywood area with a good selection of all Genres. Some prices a bit too high on the side and for some reason too many records do cost $7.98 🤔

Seems to be about 300-500 - original titles only, no reissues
There are places in the Midwest, I don't think a small LA store can afford the shipping and storage. Call stores in your area
Doubted, but still a good spot to check out. Def give them a call though.
I doubt it. They usually only sell vintage vinyl with older popular singers. For your artist, the best bet is to try and to go amoeba
Masks and sensible distancing last time I visited.
Yes, we do. We have an entire World Section of records including Latin
You need to call them. Best bet is to take it there because they are going to want to inspect it. You can also try Amoeba Music
They buy and sell vinyl, videos, rock memorabilia and CDs too. But vinyl is the most predominant item in the store.
I'm not sure that repairs are done here on anything but guitars, but you may want to call them or visit their website for more details. If they can't maybe they can point you in right direction
He'll yes! And they most likely will pay higher than Amoeba. I say skip Amoeba and bring your stash to these guys!
Yes they do, they'll work with you depending on your budget.
