This iconic Bend Restaurant has been around for over a 100 years! It is famous for its beautiful river views and 2 pontarosa trees growing in the middle of the restaurant. The food was good as was the service. It's a great place to come for just a quick lunch or a special occasion. They have a bar area as well which is much more casual and and a fun place to meet friends.. They have a big Outdoor patio full of trees and flowers with a river view that is nice to enjoy when the weather permits.

When we made our reservation we didn't know we were going to be eating at a piece of Bend history! Everything was amazing. The employees, the atmosphere, the food. We'll definitely go back, even if all we get our the scones!

We really liked this place. The setting was wonderful as you can see in the photo. It is right along the river. I would go here again in a heart beat. The place is just beautiful. The food was good. Maybe there could have been more options on the menu. It seems as though the menu was quite streamlined. As I read more about the Pine Tavern Inn, I discovered that they used to have an extensive menu and I think they even had a cook book. Where is all of the food? Now they offer a few pub favorites like burgers or fish and chips. I think that they may be missing out on some of the fun heritage that is supposed to be from this place. However, you will notice that I gave it 5 stars. The food that we did order was good, hot and tasty. The setting was really nice. And the wait staff was good.
