Just had large amount of money stolen from our room during recent stay. Police report filed. Detectives will be working the case. Absolutely no help or concern from management. Zero contact. I've contacted Hilton corporate. Not accusing hotel of responsibility until pending investigation. Be careful and leave no valuables unattended!

After giving rave reviews to Orlando Hampton, this one was sad. Table not cleaned, didn’t see any workers. One elevator not working, no sign. Twice I waited 3 minutes for this elevator (I’m slow). Slept in to 7:30 to very loud. Sounded like jackhammer outside our window. Husband thought it was AC, I don’t know, but not happy. Breakfast area - not happy. Bacon floating in grease, machine had no cranberry & orange tasted/ looked strange and tossed. No oatmeal like Orlando, sad again. Room clean, comfy bed, roomy bathroom, Nicely decorated. This Duck likes it here for last 7 years!

On the first morning of my stay, the room phone rang at 5am, waking us up abruptly. A man greeted me by my name, and posing as a front desk agent, asked to reverify my reservation information. He knew a good deal of my reservation information, and even though I was unhappy and very skeptical I verified my info with him. All the while, my partner was going to the front desk directly to see what was going on. Another guest had the same issue with someone calling their room directly and demanding information. After realizing this was a scam, the man verbally abused me over the phone before I finally hung up on him. The worst part about this whole ordeal - aside from feeling extremely unsafe at the property for the duration of our stay - was the lack of response from the hotel. I'm floored that the only answer I've gotten has been a very standard "We found no breach and we're sorry this happened to you". I've never once heard from the management at the hotel, only the front desk staff, and the corporate office just offered me points on my next eligible stay, which will never be happening. My main point, that no one has been able to dispute or answer, is this: In order for a stranger to call my hotel room directly at 5am, they would need to know my name and my room number (As explained to me by multiple hotel employees). There is no way a stranger would be able to have access to that information, except directly from the hotel. We had just checked in the evening before digitally, so no one knew that information except for my family and the hotel. But this person also knew my reservation information, and that's very suspicious if you ask me. But because the hotel found no "breach" in security, there is no answer for me. So if you choose to stay with Hilton, be wary and make sure you never speak to anyone over the phone. And the kicker is, I made my reservation over the phone, maybe someone there is stealing information...After a month with no resolution, I figured I'd share my experience. I've stayed in hotels many times in my life, and have never had to deal with anything quite like this.

The hot tub and pool area were great. Our room was clean and service was quick. The reason 4 instead of 5 was the supremely uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. I couldn't get a decent night's sleep there. I'd recommend it, but bring your own pillows and be ready to toss and turn.
