I simply love this park that is adjacent to the beach and Intracoastal, on Sunrise Boulevard. If you love nature and want to learn more about Florida’s flora and fauna, or get out and exercise or just relax among beautiful trees, plants and birds, then this is the place for you! Upon entering, you will find gate attendants that are welcoming, have maps available and are eager to answer questions. Great walking, hiking, biking, easy access to the beach, plenty of benches when you need a rest, informative and educational signs, a cool, casual restaurant and super friendly and helpful staff. We kayaked today, and Sean was so patient answering all our questions! The guys down at the water were cheerful and helpful with us—novice kayakers! We had a wonderful time on the peaceful water and interacted with iguanas, egrets, ducks, turtles and herons.

Place was so fun, so much to do. We did the two people kayaks and bikes, the people working were especially nice. Sean gave us recommendations on what would be best for me and my kid as far activities, paths, and plan of attack, he said as so helpful and friendly. Make sure you bring water on the bike ride or kayaks as it's HOT and a lot of activity. There's a restaurant there, I didn't eat but a cold beer after the kayak was incredible. Lol. We will definitely be back, and bring friends. Good for small or large groups.

We had a blast on our bicycles strolling through Hugh Taylor Birch Park. So many things like kayaking, jetski, take a walk, bicycle around the park. Nice views of the waterway, a meditation area, park for the kids, surrounded by barbecue areas. Taxi station nearby. Throughly recommend. Beautiful sunsets

This is probably my favorite park in South Florida! There are endless options for a fun day with family (including dogs), or for a zen day on your own. Great walking paths, cool options for people on wheels (cars, bikes, skateboards, etc...). Awesome activity options with the rentals, sightseeing, fishing, the restaurant, affordable parking, and it's across the street from the beach. It's my favorite local getaway for a little bit of everything. If it's not already clear from my review and the pictures from my adventures there, I'm a big fan.

Yes they are. Some small patches let sun through but I say 95% of it is covered. Beautiful place to take a walk, picnic, BBQ, and go fishing. And it's right next to the Ft. Lauderdale beach.
There are a couple of stations on the main loop road and up near the playground.
Vehicles are $4 for an individual, $6 for 2-8 people. Pedestrians are $2 and children under 6 are free.
WOW EXCELLENT IDEA as a private intimate wedding is ok As a professional planner is a logistic nigthmare Parking is of the essence. Good luck sincerely to the newly weds and the place with this weather is beatiful and quaint Pictures with awesome sauce😇😇😇😇😇😇
Yes at the back of the park is a section that faces the Intracoastal. You can fish there
Very. All dogs must be on a 6' leash and be under the owners physical control at all times.
Yes, but it is limited and it often fills up so make sure you arrive early in the day.
