Very nice, big park in northeast dade. Founded in 1939. Bycicle paths and picnic huts available. Nature trails. Golf couse.

We were planning to kayak at Oleta River State Park, but it was too windy. I found this park when I was looking for something else to do nearby. This park is huge. There's tons of parking in different areas of the park. I think you have to pay for all of it though. We just walked around and explored the park for a while. The trees are gorgeous. One side of the park runs along the river too. There's a small hill/tower thing you can climb to the top of for good views of the area. This is a great place to hang out and relax or go for a walk!

Oleta River State Park has 14 primitive cabins for overnight use. There is no camping in the park, other than for organized groups, such as boy scouts, girl scouts and church groups.
Law of Florida is you can fish anywhere unless there's a no fishing sign

Yes! I took my dog for a walk once. Greynolds has 3 parks, one (East) has a dedicated dog area like the one in Haulover Park. Not as nice.
You can go to Costco and buy 48 bottles of water for $2.99, I would not risk your health for $3.
