Hi Kyra, thanks for the question. There are all kinds of slip and fall accidents. It can be in a store, on a homeowner's property, governmental sidewalks or parks, etc... A case is based on the negligence of the property owner. General guidelines are: 1) Must prove property owner created a negligent situation 2) Knew about it and failed to remedy the situation in a reasonable amount of time By payment policy I assume you're referring to how our law firm gets paid. If so, it's the same as our auto accident cases which are all on a contingency fee basis. The statute of limitations for these cases in Washington is 3 years. Other states may differ.
