The dominican food here is pretty good . Sometimes i feel like they seem short staffed because it takes forever to get the food out. But overall pretty clean and good Dominican ambience.

Came to this place craving the “Tres Golpes” aka mangu (smashed plantains), fried eggs, and fried cheese. I was disappointed because I’ve had wayy better at other places. I can say personally I make better tres golpes than this place. Service was slow, it could’ve been because it was 4th of July. We only saw 2 waitress serving multiple of tables. The waitress was nice but mentioned after placing our order, if we were to place another order it would take approximately another 45 minutes for the food to come out. Positive notes to this place would be it’s a family friendly environment during the day. At night this place turns into a lounge and live performance on certain days.

*PLEASE NOTE THIS REVIEW WAS BASED ON MORE THAN ONE VISIT, MOST RECENT VISIT DURING THE PANDEMIC PRIOR CDC LIFTING THE RESTRICTIONS FOR FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS* We have visited this location in the past (night time) so today was the first time we were able to enjoy the day atmosphere to our delight. The restaurant was clean with just a few guests enjoying their meal.Overall the music, the food, the local were a good time! here's our pros and cons as usual: +VERY polite and attentive waitresses +Food was delicious and beautifully presented +Almost no wait time for our food to come (it will depend on what you order of course) + Menu has a great selection of Dominican/Latin food +Great selection of Dominican Desserts (get your second stomach ready) +Clean Location +Fair pricing ++++THEY HAD HABICHUELAS CON DULCE (if you're Dominican, you know...you know...) +- Place gets busy at peak times and nights, schedule yourself accordingly. +- Due location, parking is limited -No cons, we had loved all out visits to this restaurant. In short, Purita's Restaurant is a great time. From the very attentive employees to the delicious food, we can't recommend enough this very Dominican delightful experience.

Frances diaz 7/26/19 The mofongo that I have eaten all my life. a mofongo of pork chicharon without pork in plantains, mashed only with three pieces of fat fried pork That's a steal to sell something lying to the customer and to top it off horrible Mofongo with almost ripe banana, to say that this restaurant is Dominican is to discredit the Dominican liar thieves do not eat there that does not serve as a restaurant.
