After feeling terrible and dealing with a rude receptionist at the KH hospital urgent care(7-22-22 @3pm), I headed north and was very pleased with my visit at the KH Prairie location. Quick, informative, knowledgeable 5 stars... well worth the drive up north.

I was able to see a nurse quickly and everyone was very nice. My big complaint is that the doctor, for some reason, wanted to trash the President. Please keep your politics to yourself, you might insult a patient.

Our daughter has had something in her foot for a few weeks. After soaking and hoping it would come out, it became very painful so she went to Kootenai Health Urgent Care in Hayden. The front desk was pleasant, the nurse/ma was very pleasant, and then came the doctor. He was condescending, asking "oh this is your booboo?" He squeezed it as if trying to pop it and she told him it was hurting to which he responded "because you are babying it" and continued pinching even with her saying it hurt. He told her there is nothing wrong even showing her an x-ray saying "see." He wrote a script for an antibiotic (never mentioning an infection) and sent her away ending with her call to me crying. Sent her to Northwest Urgent Care the next day and THANKFULLY they removed the piece of glass from her foot. Now we have 2 urgent care bills and a cautionary tale. Skip Kootenai Health!!

Scheduled an online appointment. Text said to call when we get there. When we called them, they said they can’t help, only offered to subscribe some pain relief and didn’t even had a real doctor in the office. Definitely won’t ever be going there again!
