Someday this airport will have multiple gates and a big annoying parking structure and you'll have to walk a mile to get on your plane. But for now you can park, walk across a small street, through security, and out onto the ramp and your plane. The most annoying thing right now is that the ticket counter/baggage people bail out of the ticket counter like 45 min before the flight so you better get your bag checked before then. You'd think Alaska/Horizon could spring for another gate agent. But all-in-all, it's pretty good.

Nice small airport with friendly staff. The baggage claim area is small and we got our bags back quickly

Got rerouted here. Had to go back thru security twice (here alone) and one TSA agent was beyond grumpy. The other two were wonderful. Also, there is no food here. Wish we'd known that. Not our best airport experience especially post red- eye, reroute.

Want to experience what would it be like to land at a tiny airport in Africa - But not have to worry about security? Want to experience what would it be like going through an airport that's literally two-rooms big? Pullman is for you! Jokes aside, this airport is so tiny it's hard to believe you're still in the US. But once there, you'd be pleasantly surprised at the polite, provincial air of the place. Staff is nice and friendly. Getting to and fro can be a challenge if you don't have your own car because the airport is in the middle of nowhere. So work on that before touching down. Also, it's a tiny airport. Only small, rotary-winged, lark-like aircraft serve the airport. If that's something you want to enjoy - Go for it. If that's something you're afraid of - Well, you're in it for a good one! Cheers!

We do not have a flight to Boise out of Pullman. PUW is serviced by Alaska Airlines and only flies to and from Seattle.
Yes, the airport will be operational on October 11?
Yes, you can definitely sleep in the airport and wait for your flight. The last flight arrives at about midnight and the first flight out is at 5:00 AM.
If you indicate you need wheelchair assistance when you book her, airline staff will help with the transfer to and from the plane and her seat, but I am not sure about from the car to the terminal.
Hi Sunnie, Yes, leave the boxed open for TSA inspection. It is a good idea to bring your own tape to give to TSA to tape after they are finished with the inspection.
Hi Erica, Thank you for your question. All parking at the airport is paid parking. Parking should be pre-paid and all spaces are $5 per day; this includes gravel lots and ADA spaces. The parking kiosk is located inside the terminal building, on the right past the men’s restroom. The kiosk will ask for your stall number and number of days you intend to park. If you do not know or do not see a stall number use stall number 500. The kiosk accepts debit/credit cards and exact cash (the kiosk will not give change back). If you use stall 500 please place your receipt on your dash.
For delayed luggage, please call Alaska Airlines 509-334-1877 extension 2.
Yes, you can carry your vape pod on your person. You will however need to send it through the x-ray machine at security.
No, there's a couple vending machines
Samantha, you will not be towed. We ask that you place your receipt on your dash as a double confirmation of payment. If you entered the correct parking space number, there is no need for you to place your receipt on your dash. If you used space number 500 placing your receipt on your dash is the only way we know you paid. Should you receive a parking fee due envelope give me a call. 509-338-3223
Hi Susan, Parking lots are not fenced. We have not had issues in our parking lots and do not have cameras. Parking attendants do walk through all parking lots daily.
Avis/Budget and Hertz are located in the terminal building. Enterprise is located off-site. Here is a link to our rental car page on our website. http://www.flypuw.com/transportation/rental-cars/
For the 5:00 a.m. flight the airline suggests arriving at 3:30 a.m. for international flights and 3:45 a.m. for domestic flights.
Yes it left at 2:28 pm.
According to Sept 29, 1979, Pullman Herald engine trouble changed their course. Pilots John Hernandez & Dale Robertson asked the airport mgr, Morasch, if they could leave the plane for a few days. They didn't return until Nov to work on the engine. Then again in March 1975. They returned May 5th with a flight plan to Guadalajara, Mexico. They lifted off but returned due to engine trouble. Los Angeles attorney representing the owner told Morasch John Hernandez died in a plane crash and Dale Robertson was an alias and nowhere to be found. In the fall of 1975, two mechanics packed up the engine and left for California. Eventually, there was no connection to the owner. Even the tail number failed to turn up the name of the owner. One day it was gone. It was not flyable but there were tracks across a harvested field. Someone saw a combine on a side road between Pullman and Palouse. They said the combine had to back the airplane it was towing off the road to allow him to get his car past.
There's PLENTY of parking available!
Next year the runway closure is scheduled to be shut down September 8th - October 10th, 2019. Alaska Airlines has blocked out flights into and out of PUW during our runway closure.
There is a Hertz and Avis/Budget located in the airport terminal
Airline agents begin arriving at 3:15 AM. The last flight arrives into PUW at about Midnight. The Airport Administration Office hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
