Don't rent equipment from this location unless you are prepared for a crazy long wait. The main guy that does these will talk to you FOREVER while he shuffles around and occasionally answer his cell phone for personal calls. They make you wait in this line when returning gear, which is archaic. I managed to get someone else at customer service to help me after watching 4 of them stand around doing nothing, and he let me stand there for minutes thinking he needed something from me versus telling me everything was all good so I could leave. Take people's credit cards down, let them drop off gear, and charge them if there's an issue. Don't make people suffer twice through this truly horrid experience. Come on, REI....this is awful service.

This is my go-to store for almost my entire outdoor gear because the service is great, products are reliable and staff very friendly. During my last visit Scott went beyond all expectations though and supported us in our frantic last-minute and crucial purchase to make sure we were completely set up and not only ready to go, but safely too.

I've been a member for over twenty years. It's sad to see how it has degraded into just another clothes store with rows of unorganized racks. You pay list price for a poor selection. They force you to go online to get many standard items, and once you're online you might as well order from somewhere with a searchable site and better prices. It makes me sad. Most of my wardrobe is from REI. I hate having to find a new place for clothes. Here's hoping they can turn it around. ☹️

Always impressive in their thoughtful selection and good values, REI has been a stalwart icon of serious and not so serious outdoor enthusiasts for more than 50 years. Once more, it's a co-op, members get a vote, get discounts, and support a business model that isn't exclusively about profit. I love that you can rent things and try stuff out before you make a permanent investment. Their staff is always helpful and often pretty knowledgeable.

Capital One is a good bank and if anything it's likely the customer service will be vastly improved.
it's busy...customers returning wknd rental items.
Call the store or order online for instore pickup.
Call the store. Stores rarely respond to questions via Google in my experience .
They're good. Standard process.
Yes you can. I was there last week for some hiking shoes. There is a line and they can help about 6 people try on shoes at a time. I only waited a couple of minutes, but that probably depends on when you go. I recall the woman at the door saying m-th between 11-2 was best. Good luck!
Yes
Yes, you can
REI is currently open for curbside pickup only. They are not letting customers inside of the store at the moment.
Yes, if you return through the mail, they will deduct a shipping fee (just under $9). You can also return directly to a store, if the ones in your area are open.
Call the store.
Usually the first weekend of the month. (This time 6/8/2019)
Yes, but take a worn one off and take it with you to the store to make sure you get the right replacement tip.
Sorry, I don't know. Call the store, they're incredibly helpful---and nice!
Members get notified in advance (via email) of the garbage sales days, but you can also check the website (REI.COM) for more info. Cheers
Presidents Day are you Open
Yes
The spend window ended. The window for redeeming the $20 started yesterday and goes through the 18th.
No they don't do fishing equipment.
I haven't bought swim wear at REI but I have bought other clothing items and the largest I've ever seen has been 2XX, or 2XL.
You are asking the google community. Please call up rei and ask thdn or look it up online. Thdy have a website that will allow you to find an item if they carry it, including the sizes, colors, makes, etc.
I would call and ask. They respond fast and will transfer the question to the appropriate department.
December 24th the store is open until 6pm and closed on December 25th.
