Decent place but it can be cleaner honestly! it’s a place to recycle why not make it more enjoyable so more people will recycle all you see is flying garbage and recycling material everywhere that flies out on the streets. I wish there was more staff members whose job would be cleaning the establishment.

This place left a real sour taste in my mouth. Today was my first time recycling here. I was looking to the employees to give me directions of what to do and they actively ignored me. So I started sorting out my recycling. Then the staff made fun of me because the car in front of me got credit for everything I had just recycled and I came away with zero money from the buyback program. I would hope that this recycling center becomes more user friendly for new folks. I just burned money on gas waiting for an hour and a half with nothing to show for it.

Easy place to go recycle! If you already have your cans, plastics ans glass pre sorted you can automatically just wait in the drive thru line and be serviced right away.

Every time I have gone to this facility I have been treated with the highest care and respect. The employees make me feel like they are happy to have me visit. I am politely addressed and attended to. The process for successfully completing my task is easy to follow and their price per pound seems to be fair and honest. Thank you Berkeley Recycling Center for a job well done.

They do it's like a penny per pound or something really low. Your best bet is to get a whole ton and have it bailed I think you can get up to 300 for a ton even though the market rate is like 1,000.00 per ton. Something like that. They buy it though. I have a fair amount of cardboard as I do home dialysis I just give it away I'm not going to collect a ton of cardboard
