Stop apologizing to me and my family! Nobody has tried and compensate me for my troubles or time. If you want to know the real story and really care about your customers then ask your manger Asia’s what really happened. Then get back to me and try telling me you are sorry. This wasn’t one hold this was two holds on my account. One of $330 the first and the 2nd was $287. This isn’t my first time staying at a hotel a hold for incidentals is usually $50 dollars he most. I had TWO separate holds of $330 and $287 so tell me how that’s right? Stop making it sound like I don’t know what I’m talking bout. Because you are very wrong and don’t know the entire story. I had to put my kids to bed hungry that night! Your apology means nothing when my kids are crying hungry and want food. Your apology doesn’t put gas in my truck to get home. Two separate charges ma’am two! Now if you would like to contact me to hear what happened before you assume it was a normal hold, Asia and Karen both have my email and phone number.

Worst experience ever at a hotel! Not only did they have to change my room 3 times they charged my card over $600 dollars with two different chages! I came on a family emergency with my two kids and husband. We came on a budget of a little under 700 dollars. Went to order food after a very long check in to find my card being declined. My kids we hungry and we only had 11 dollars to our name. They offered us food but they only had microwaveable Mac and cheese and a hot pocket. Chips, Starbucks, soda, and beer. That’s not a meal for a 1yr old or a 6yr old. My kids went to bed hungry because it was already so late by the time we actually got settled. It’s now three days later and nobody seems to know where our other $330 dollars is. No compensation for my kids or myself for the trouble and pain as I watched my kids cry for food. I even was crying in the lobby all I could get was an I am sorry. Sorry doesn’t put food in my kids belly or gas in my car. So if Alexandra checks you in make sure she doesn’t run your card 5 or 6 times.

Recently I started traveling again for business and I have had some wonderful experiences at Marriott hotels. I almost stopped using Marriott as my go to chain for travel after my wedding reception in December 2021. I was widowed over 10 years ago and after becoming engaged in 2019 decided to hold our wedding at this hotel based on very positive reviews. We waited almost 2 years to get married because of the pandemic. In fairness to the hotel the ceremony went well. It wasn’t until the next day that we started hearing from guest and family about various issues. People told us they were shocked and surprised at the lack of variety the bar had to offer which was baffling to us considering we contracted for a premium bar package. I should have realized something was terribly wrong when my husband had to supply the bar with cranberry juice. I don’t know if this was just poor planning but it wasn’t right. Maybe this hotel didn’t consider this event important but it meant everything to us. And yes I did contact the hotel on the next business day and I was made to feel like it was my fault since I didn’t report all of the issues the day of the wedding. Again, we didn’t begin to hear about most of these issues until the next day. I have no desire to speak with anyone ever again from the hotel and nothing the management team can say will ever justify what happened that night.
