Everyone who works in this dentist office is incredibly friendly and professional. My daughter, who was a little nervous, felt at ease once she laid back in the chair and saw a screen in the ceiling playing her favorite Netflix show. Joan, the dental assistant, walked Lucy through every step and gave her a lot of positive reinforcement for following instructions. I think they do a terrific job of explaining all of the potential costs and dental needs. At the end of her dental exam, Lucy was even offered a choice of a take-home toy. Thank you OPDSF!

My husband took our daughter for her first ever dental appointment with OPDSF. She just turned a year old. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming - special thanks to Serena, Annie and Peter who were there on the day. She saw Dr. Mo who did a great job of trying to reassure her when she got a bit nervous. Definitely a great place for children's dentistry where they know how to deal and can support kids in what can otherwise be a scary situation. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for pediatric dental care!

Most Elementary age children don't like going to the dentist...however, my 9 year old not only enjoys going to OPDSF but doesn't flinch when I tell him about his appointment. We absolutely love Dr. Pang who is thorough, communicative about x-ray findings, treatment and so kid friendly. Plus, they had to remove a spacer today and my son said "I just watched a movie on the ceiling:-)" Serena, Annie and Tina make the office just flow seamlessly once you enter to your departure. I can't recommend OPDSF enough. I just wish they took adult patients so I could watch a movie on the ceiling.

Highly recommend! We took our 19 month daughter to see Dr. Pang for her first dentist appointment today. Our daughter DOES NOT like the doctor's office at all and was very nervous about going to the dentist for the first time. It is very clear that everyone at OPDSF knows how to work with young children and make them feel comfortable. Dr. Pang, Serena, Joan, Annie, and Martha were all excellent and our daughter did really well! We highly recommend.

Questions & Answers

My wife and I have no trouble getting daughter to brush her teeth, even at the age of 18 months or so. But we are having much difficulty getting our son to rinse his mouth before and after brushing. Do you have any tricks or tips for us? Thanks.

Wonderful your daughter enjoys brushing her teeth at 18 months old. It's important to mention that most children don't master the skill of brushing their teeth properly until close to 10 years of age with supervision. Most children cannot rinse and spit properly until close to age 6. That's why for young children it's important for a parent to dispense the appropriate amount of toothpaste (rice grain size for 3-4 year-olds and pea size for 5-6 year-olds). If your son is older than 6 please discuss with your dentist.

Do you accept Delta dental insurance?

We work with Delta Dental insurance all the time. We are currently contracted with Delta Dental, however, we will be withdrawing from the network later this year. This will NOT interrupt our care and service to you, and we will continue to file your insurance claims to maximize your benefits. Kindly give us a call to schedule your appointment or if you have further questions.
