Publix Super Market at Snow Hill Village

We just moved to TN and heard “pub subs” were good. We’ve had them a couple times now and… Yep, we like them, too! The grocery store is also nice.

LOVE this store. It's not just very large but it is clean at all times, staff is excellent and even their managers are willing to pitch in as baggers and cashiers when they are swamped. That says a lot about a supermarket. Their products are excellent, competitive prices, their bakery is AWESOME. My favorite is the sourdough bread. Nobody does sourdough bread like them and also the rest of their fresh breads are excellent. There is one for every taste. The customer service desk will always help you.

The deli/subs department is very unprofessional! I arrived at their counter, the person behind the counter looked at me directly in the eye and walked away. I was the only customer there at that time. Then another person told me it would be a minute, but did not attend to my order. I waited for about 10 minutes then decided to shop for other groceries which I did not really need. I came back after 15 minutes and still had to wait until someone acknowledged that I was there. There were quite a few people working behind the counter but none seemed to care wether customers needed attention or not. Overall, something that has taken 10-15 minutes in other Publix stores, took nearly 40 minutes at this specific Publix. It has been the same experience for my employees when they shop for lunch at this specific Publix. They are all Hispanic and wear construction “work clothes” and they (including myself) felt discriminated against, or at least the interactions with the deli department led me and my employees to conclude that perhaps we are undeserving of similar quality service and treatment.
