Plenty of parking. Nice walking trail. Plenty of access to the creek. Not the easiest but very manageable. If your wading, it isn't to rough to manage up and down the creek.

Can't tell you how great it is to see land not destroyed by human beings. Dog friendly trail and sheer picturesque vistas at every turn... California has nothing on Tennessee's gorgeous views...no litter, no graffiti, everything smells clean and fresh, people don't destroy the landscape here.

Very nice easy out and back trail. Gravel path the entire length of the main trail so running shoes are just fine, no need for hikers. Trail does continue further at the end, take the left path for a further mile to a dead end at a large rich next to the creek. Go right to hook up with the Cumberland trail.

Anyone who can walk, can easily do this ‘hike.’ Not really a hike, as it’s flat and you walk along an old road. Porta-potty about half way. Lots of tables to stop and rest. Quite a few places to access the water for swimming or fishing. Great place to picnic!

Yes you can! You do have to go past a gate that says no trespassing but as far as I understand it's still on state land.
I checked it too and this does seem to be the case. Maybe they are counting from a starting point other than the trailhead, like the overflow parking lot.
Yes definitely. There's a couple good deep spots where you can swim and even have fun jumping off the rocks

Easy flat trail for casual walkers or beginner hikers, pets friendly as long as they are people friendly. Great for elderly and kiddos too.
I haven't personally seen anyone fishing there. But I would imagine that one could fish there as long as they have a proper license.
It's not closed. Crowded but not closed.
I have seen plenty of dogs here but they are leashed. I think there are even signs posted concerning pets needing to be on leashes.
