This has to be the worst city I’ve ever lived in. The cops let people drive however they want. Crime increases because they allow people to continue to break laws with driving. If you see cars speeding give them a ticket. This city is a mess because they allow the population to drive whichever way they please. As a Latino this is probably the most dangerous thing a police department can allow. They should start giving more tickets to drivers and searching more vehicles and being able to search them for weapons at the same time for violating driving laws like speeding at ridiculous rates. They allow side shows and can’t control basic traffic laws. All you have to do to see this crazy driving is drive down fruitvale to 35th, or 89-107th. All these wannabe thugs that drive around in nice cars speeding and almost killing people. Literally the cops can’t even control basic traffic laws by enforcing them.

Completely useless. Why does Oakland even have this number? No one ever shows up. Can take 20-30 minutes to get someone on phone but really there is no point in waiting, officers won’t show up!

My friends and I drove to Oakland Chinatown to buy something from San Jose this morning, my car was parked in a temporary roadside, after ten minutes I couldn't start the car because the battery was dead. I was nervous because it's never happened before, I tried to call AAA, but it was hard to get through to human services, and I saw a police car parked in front of me so I went to that police car for help, it was Officer Palmer in the police car, I would like to say to Officer Palmer: "I appreciate from the bottom of my heart that you help us with things outside of your work. You not only make the people of Oakland feel safe, but also make our heart very warm. The world is wonderful to have you".

A man was walking down the street drunk at 10 am fighting people, he hit me and I called the police. It took 15 minutes to get and answer then they said an hour for an officer to get there for a report. As I was on the phone with dispatch an officer drove by, I waved at her, she looked at me then turned on her lights and drove away. Absolutely disgraceful public service.

If the wallet was just stolen off of you, call the police. If not, go to 455 7th Street. The front desk officer will have you fill out an incident report.
There not going to do anything. They think it's to much paper work.Sorry
No number
Eastmont Substation on 73rd Avenue (the traffic department is located there only) or go to oaklandpolice.com
In the parking lot they have there. You have to pay by the hour. Not sure of the cost.
They open at 8 and close at 5.
The city of oakland, on their website shows where you can email the mayor and or attend community meetings
You go to the police station between 8 am and 12 pm and get a release to show the tow yard.
Not sure sorry. You should call them and ask.
You need to call 911 immediately and report the details with the operator.
