Good fishing, Trout, Bass, Rainbows and Browns, Catfish. Yellow Perch. Kids will get tired of catching perch there’s so many. 2 Public boat ramps with lots of parking. Get night crawlers pinch them in 1/3’s it’s all you need to catch fish. Everything you need is at the marina including pizza. You can rent every kind of watercraft made. There are no speed limits on the water, skiers are plenty.

We camped at Sunset Campground at Lake of the Woods, we had beautiful weather and enjoyed our site. Plenty of room and sites are pretty large, you are not looking into your neighbors camper. Was pretty quite during the weekend.

Lots of new rules since we were there a couple years ago, so just be aware 🙂
We have reserved aN RV site in the Sunset campground. Can we Also have a tent on the same site-woukd there be an additional fee?
No open flames at all.
There are showers at the boat launch but they are closed
You book spots through recreation.gov
They close about a week after Labor Day.

Day Use fee is $5. I have never tried a forest pass.
