Dropped off several small loads of household waste over the years. Used to work in a chem lab. When It closed down, I was given the task of getting rid of our chemicals. Most went to Cal State Hayward, but had to drop off a 1/4 pound of KCN here. They sure wondered why I had it

I drop off household waste here almost monthly. The folks are always knowledgeable and professional. No problems.

Good place for electronics and chemical waste such as paints. I would give it 5 stars, however, the people who work there don't seem to be fully informed about the disposal of materials like nails, saw blades, and the like. A few men there told me it was "scrap metal" and to "throw it in the trash." Throw rusty nails and saw blades in the trash and let it end up in a dump or potentially hurt trash sorters? I don't think so. They CAN be recycled and they should have accepted there there.

Even if the facility is open, sometimes all the appointments are full so the hours aren't that helpful. Sorry for the confusion.
