Visited the store on Sunday,1st May 2022 around closing time at 4.30. Walked in and was instantly greeted by Ryan at the counter with a very warm smile. Walked straight up to him and handed over my long list of vinyls that i had to pick up. Ryan was extremely kind and helpful, he walked around the store and looked for all the ones that were available. Truly appreciate his help, as I am from India and had no clue about the music I was picking up for someone else. No hurry to wind up for the day, he gave me suggestions and options to make sure I don't end up with the ones that are not required. Highly recommend picking up ur Vinyls from here when in SF. 😇

Originals Vinyl store is a very friendly and welcoming place. Many times, I passed in front of the store, and one day I stopped to ask if they would be interested in buying some records. I happened to talk with Dominic one of the store owners, and he encouraged me to bring in some albums to get priced. In my case I was moving and I wanted to offload my record collection. I could have gone to one of the larger record stores in town, which I’ve done in the past, but the more personal attention I received from Dominic was beyond my expectations. What started with bringing over a few samplings of albums for pricing, I quickly realized that not only were they very knowledgeable about the various styles of music I had to sell, but they were prepared to pay a fair price for my rare vinyls, as well as other albums in my collection. And in addition they also offered and coordinated a door-to-door pick up of a few boxes of albums I had in storage in two different locations. With the heavy weight of records, the pickup service was a great perk. If you have some albums you want to sell, I highly recommend Originals Vinyl. I was very pleased with their service.

What an amazing place. Great selection of soul, jazz and hip hop. All records in great condition. I'll be back next time I'm in SF!
