Great place to take the family. Rest camping facilities, lots of trails, clear water and playgrounds for when they need a break from hiking! Halloween in July is the BEST weekend to camp. Games, crafts, activities, trick or treating, costume contests! 🔥🔥🔥

It's a very nice state park. Walking trails are great. Latrines were really clean and updated. Great place to kayak and swim. (need to watch the little ones close though) all and all it's a very nice park.

Love the area!!!. Lots of bike trails and hiking trails to explore even though it's a smaller park it is top notch in cleanliness,accommodations and beauty (for ND 😉)

Tented here very recently and hiked most of the trails. There is about 15 miles of trails and they all seemed very well maintained and clearly marked. Very nice facilities and great scenery. A new favorite!

There are multiple picnic areas that include picnic tables and grills for public use. One only needs to pay the park admission fee to use them.
Camping year round, have to hike to site in winter.
The rangers will regularly go back to the ranger station at the visitor center.
