Edgewater Park

It's a beautiful park, but the crowds can occasionally become too large and parking can be an issue if you're unable to walk or bike here. There is so much more to it than the beach, which really only encompasses a small fraction of the whole park. I've lived within walking distance for a few years and I'm still finding new areas I never knew about.

Great park for large groups and family fun. Well kept environment, access to an awesome beach, and available grills, benches and tables. However, as with any beach (and especially this one with large stretches of sand) be careful with the water and rip tides when swimming. Otherwise a great location for a relaxing day of sports or other activities!

This park is gorgeous! It is so big and surprisingly so clean too. Lots of picnic room or room to kick around a ball. Swimming area looked great, although it was still way to cold to utilize that when we were here. People were fishing from the rocks too. It was such a relaxing day. The pier is also pretty cool… it really feels like you’re at the ocean.

I was at Edgewater during a snow storm and it was a blast. The roads and paths were largely free of slow and ice and it's a great place to experience the frozen lake. Always has done great views of downtown as well. Highly recommend walking out onto the lake and savoring a definitive Cleveland winter experience! Just make sure you layer up because there's no protection from the wind here!
