I was lucky to stumble upon Home Quality Remodeling from a recommendation from a friend. They guys came out to the house pretty quickly to give my project and look and they kept it real with me as to what we could and could not do. I had some ideas that would have have worked code wise, and they also pointed out that's some of the things I want done might be an issue down the road. I love how down to earth they were with there assessment of my project. They gave me a reasonable quote on time and materials and were very professional in every aspect. I would highly recommend them in the future and I plan on using them for other projects around my home.

We contracted Home Quality Remodeling (HQR) for a large interior remodel in San Jose, and was extremely impressed by their work. HQR's project manager Amir Levy was always on point -- professional, reliable, punctual, and overall a pleasure to work with. Our project turned out to be more challenging that we originally hoped (several unforeseen technical issues and some regulatory hurdles), but Amir and his team expertly worked through each of the problems encountered, and finished the project at a very high level of quality. The finished rooms look beautiful, and we are quite happy with the soundness of all the electrical and plumbing work they did as well. During the remodel Amir kept us up-to-date every step of the way. When it came to selecting finish materials and fixtures, he always explained us the pros and cons of different options, and guided us towards high-quality but reasonably-priced options whenever possible. They brought in qualified and licensed specialists (engineers, electricians, plumbers etc) to handle more technically complex portions of the project. They also handled all the permit processes and city inspections, and made sure everything was done as per the latest city codes. At the end of the project they also gave us plenty of time to evaluate their work, and gladly did all the minor final touchups we asked them to do. All the work also came with a 1 year warrant, so we can be confident that they will have our back if something needs to be looked at again in the coming months. Overall, we cannot be happier we decided to contract HQR and Amir. We interviewed 5+ contractors in bay area at the start of our project. HQR's quote was not the cheapest we got, but it was indeed reasonable. Considering the quality of the finished project, and how they dealt with various unforeseen issues during the project, choosing HQR was one of the best decisions we made. I'd gladly recommend them to anybody that's doing remodels in bay area.

I contacted HQR to remodel parts of our home. We got a bid to replace our roof and remodel our backyard and we got our bid within two weeks. We felt that their pricing was fair, our project manager explained and broke down the costs to us and that helped us justify the price we’d be paying. Communication with their team was easy and open. The most challenging part was picking out materials and coordinating the delivery for the crews to begin work. We would definitely hire them again. They did a great job and we are completely satisfied customers.

We scheduled an on-site project estimate and Jacob came to our house. He's very professional and answered all our questions. During the project, Jacob and team have been supportive and quick to respond. Communication has been smooth. The team shows their expertise and has been very focused to achieve perfection. I appreciate and feel thankful for their craftsmanship and I'd say the result exceeds my expectation. Besides the bathrooms project, Jacob and team have also completed our garage renovation project.
