came today to get this game “battleship” just to see there’s NO pieces inside whatsoever. i’m very disappointed because 1.they didn’t put a warning on the box that they DIDNT have pieces inside and 2. i was so excited to play with my cousin😒😒

I don't think anyone even works or manages this store. I feel like anytime I go in, there's maybe one attendant and they're just there to check out people's items. Additionally, I've tried calling several times to ask if certain items can be accepted for donation - neither the sales associate line NOR the Managers line ever answer. Plus, they don't have voicemails set up so it literally just rings, no one answers and it auto hangs up on you. Disappointing but will look elsewhere for both my donations and purchases.

I used to frequent this location when I lived in the area and after they remodeled everything seem to change. They have a sign that clearly states that sleeveless tops are only $1.99 however every time I go to the front to purchase them they try to tell me that they’re $3.99 I realize that this isn’t a huge difference but when their sign is incorrect and then they come to the front and try to tell you that your miss reading the sign even though you see the sign, you have a picture of the sign, and it clearly states that all sleeveless blouses are $1.99 it’s really frustrating. The manager kept trying to tell me that the $1.99 price was only for spaghetti strap tank tops but the sign says sleeveless, it doesn’t say tank top. Also if it were the case why would the tank tops and the thicker strap tank tops be mixed in together if they were separate prices. This didn’t just happened to me the woman behind me also had the same issue so it’s not a single issue with a single person but a continual issue that the store is not dealing with. Also I have been mistakenly charge double for a pair of shoes twice at this location and every time that I’ve gone back to try and fix it (literally walking to my car, realizing what happen and walking back in, less than 2 mins later) they won’t do anything about it because they say that they don’t know for sure that I didn’t purchase two pairs of shoes. I don’t typically leave reviews about places but I just feel like the way that they run this specific location is outrageous I really think that someone needs to come in from corporate and either correct the signs that are misleading or they need to actually follow through with what the sign says it’s not that hard.

I do not know if they pick up. Dropping off at the bins usually means the homeless trash the site. Maybe you could call cal veterans. They often pick up and help veterans with the donations.

do you take bed linens and toys and games

Yes they do accept donations but you need to call them to find out when. For instance people just drop off alot of junk by there back door after closing time. They are really snobby about what they accept. I think that's why people do it because they have no other place to put junky items that they would tell you they wouldn't accept otherwise. They overcharge alot at this store. Ive seen for real dollar store items in there for 3-4 dollars. Imo I would rather take my things to someplace else who would appreciate it more and not price gouge

Do you pick up sofa and love seats

They are super picky with everything they pick up. They will actually go ahead and make an appointment to pick your stuff up, you wait half a day for them to come then they refuse to take it. (Or most anything you have and will litterly go through your donation to see what they will/wont take). They are extremely expensive when they sell stuff too. Ive seen things there from the dollar store that they are selling for like 4.00, thats no joke! That goes for anything they sell, you dont get good deals for broke people! Call anyone else other than them. They are the top dog, they know it and they dont appreciate any of your donation make you feel they are doing you a favor IF they take your stuff. Call an animal, childrens, veteran, breast cancer, starving students anyone but them. Just my opinion.
