The Martinez pier is [CLOSED] as in, gated and locked. Some people go out there anyway but it will likely be a loooooooong time before it's open to the public. (2022)

Definitely an awesome place to come and unwind or walk around or just relax also is peaceful and everyone is respectful around here. Go for a bike ride or a jog around and you'll see how beautiful it is from a personal perspective. Bring your boat or jet skies and launch at the dock with plenty of parking around

I reviewed it quite a bit but here's some pictures a great place to go bring your dog has got it flies his kite at night all the time or right before evening. Great place to go especially to cool off. and it's always a lot cooler at the marina it is one of the main reasons I go

Very pleasant view and weather on the 60-70's when is 90-100 inland. Too bad there are no restaurants in the Marina, just in the Martinez' downtown.

Yeah you can buy your fishing license at the Martinez bait shop Marina
If you have a boat, fish for sturgeon on the other side of the bridge near the old navy ships. Salmon roe wrapped with bait string works great. The staff at the marina bait shop will tell you what's working.

It depends on the area and state...most Harbor Master's are not appointed to a position. So most are in it till they retire from the job. And you want it that way, the more they know the better!
