Nice family park. Came on a weekday and there were lots of families. Still plenty of parking and places to camp. I camped close to the restroom. There was toilet paper and paper towels. The sink works and the toilet flushes. It was cleaner than most park restrooms. Most everyone left when it got dark. Mine was one of three cars left when I piched my tent. Slept good all night no noises that I heard of. Never saw any police. Had a permit but didnt seem to need it. Will camp there again.

Love this place. My wife and I had our wedding reception at the hall here at the park. You can rent the pavillions as well. Very spacious and clean. We don't live too far away, so it makes for a nice motorcycle ride out there. At the front of the park, there are some military flags amd a huge artillery weapon that make it nice to pull your motorcycle up to for pictures.

I know that you can catch catfish, red fish, not sure about snapper. If you like crabs, those are out there. Sorry could not answer your question.
Yes they have a lights u can turn on on the dock but turn em off when u leave
Water but no electricity
There are alligators in the water. Yes you can swim. But the locals wouldn't advise it.. I have swam in it before, but that was before all the hurricanes (Ike and Harvey) came through.
