It gets the job done but there are some things that need addressing. For one as many other here have pointed out the sharp turn means there are extremely loud screeching noises which is not only annoying but I can imagine also can cause long term permanent hearing damage. Second there are a lot of rusting and deteriorating surfaces, even more than the average T stations. The sanitation, especially on the walls and ceilings, certainly need to be addressed. One plus is that there are some old streetcars here from the T which are nice to look at but other than that this is just an ordinary stop on the green line.

Due to the sharp turn that the Green Line makes at this station, its trains make unbearably loud screeching sounds here. I'd recommend unless you absolutely cannot that you enter or exit the T at Arlington or Park Street instead.

LOL These tourists complaining that there's no bathrooms, and that it's "really loud". As far as I know, there isn't a single T stop with bathrooms, so stop complaining and go see your doctor if your incontinence is that bad. Plus, I think there are porta potties on the Common so just go there. "Really loud" T stops are completely normal, specifically for, you know, THE GREEN LINE??? These trains are well known to be really loud??? Are you that clueless? Please, I understand, you're new, and you haven't been to Boston that much. But please just don't leave a negative review on here if you're gonna complain this much about things that aren't that big of a deal. By the way, I love the T so I'm giving 5 stars.

Entrance is not intuitive and not well labeled. The tracks and trams creak so much when it turns here. You might as well give up higher frequency hearing of you use this station regularly
