I walked in and was greeted by very courteous staff. They assigned someone to help me with my glasses order. I was able to take my time, and choose the right frame for me. The attendant was very nice and knowledgeable, and even helped me figure out my insurance. When I found out it wouldn't all be covered, she asked me if I still wanted to proceed. No sales pressure whatsoever. It took a total of 9 days to receive my glasses. Would definitely recommend this place.

So I went to this optometry department since I have kaiser insurance . Since they did drama as well as eye exams I opted to buy glasses after my exam. Was helped by a young lady who was very friendly and straight forward about the cost . Since it was pat day I decided why not and purchased the exact set I wanted which seemed pricy at the time . Was told it would be 7-10 days for the glasses to be made . Now I have purchased glasses from many places before and it has always been my experience to have a 1-2 day maximum wait . It took 19 days to receive my glasses and every time I followed up with them to find out the delivery date I was told the knew they were back logged and wouldn't receive them for 2 weeks instead of the original 7-10 days claim . Now I know they are just the people who place orders and are dependent on another facility to manufacture the lenses and such . However if I had known it would take almost 3 weeks for glasses I could have purchased anywhere else for $150 less I would have went somewhere else . I need my glasses for work and due to this oversite I will not be purchasing glasses from any Kaiser or vision essentials facility in the foreseeable future .

It is going on one month since I ordered my lenses and they are not ready yet. VERY slow. I suggest that they get a new vendor to cut and install lenses on frames.

Depends on your health coverage.
Annette, thank you (yes, I called and they told me he retired)
If you have purchased glasses or contacts from Vision Essentials using your prescription, you can view that prescription online at kp2020.org. Thanks.
Yes. Very thorough ...
Yes, they can do that after checking the frame.
Hi Robert, Our Opticians serve on a first-come basis. If you are asking about an eye exam with an Optometrist, it's best to make an appoint first at kp2020.org by clicking on "Book an Eye Exam."
