Covienient and comfortable little cabins on an RV campsite. On the days we visited we saw mostly an older aged crowd so it was pretty quiet through the day and evening. The cabins have great amenities like full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, sink. Plenty of sleeping options, beds aren't the most comfortable but they beat sleeping on an air mattress or the ground. We brought our own bedding. Standing shower in the bathroom, slightly cramped. Beware if you are tall. There are public washing facilities that can be used as an alternative. Very limited seating inside (an incentive to enjoy the outdoors), so the indoor space cramps up fast. Pool is large and offers ample poolside seating. It was a little unpleasant sitting fireside in the pit they offer outside each cabin. The pits are juxtaposed to the next door neighbors septic vent, so enjoy a blast of foul-smelling air here and there. The central air block is also nearby so it can get a little loud and obnoxious while you're trying to enjoy the fireside. Avoid sitting in the gust of hot air it makes when it's running. Lots of space in the decking outside featuring a closed in porch as a reprieve from the bugs but to still enjoy the outdoors. Campsite offers a great community space featuring an indoor play area for Littles and often hosts live music. Overall a pretty good spot to enjoy the local history or as a pit stop on your travels.

My parents are members of Travel Resorts of America and my husband and I took a vacation to Gettysburg and used their membership. We got a tent site and in my opinion it was a fantastic site. We had two big trees for sade and a lot more room then I expected. The pool is huge and not too cold. It rained one evening and because we had a tent site we hungout in the club house and it has so much space, we had our own private area while we waited for the storm to pass. The store is very large and they had a great hard ice cream selection in the store as well. The play area is very large for the kids. My husband and I don't have dogs, but they do have a dog park right in the resort. I went fishing in the pond and caught lots of sunfish. The resort is a short drive from all the historic sites and we loved exploring the area. We had a great vacation, wish we stayed longer. Already planning our next trip.

Good park, nice pool, activities good. Big problem is unlevel spaces. We spent 2 hrs as very experienced rv'ers trying to level our motorhome, then watched every rv to arrive all around us suffer the same waste of vacation time and energy for 2-3 hrs of frustration. Level your spots, no sewer in 200s meant $17 for Honey Wagon. New spots and no sewer? Have been there many times before but had full hookups.

Wow, where to start... Here goes. I received an "offer" for free camping. I inquired. I was told i could get a week of free camping. I wanted to visit may 19 to 26, 7 nights, 1 week right? Well, no. I was told that it was 8 days and that's always how they work it. Then I was told, nope, not a freeweek just 4 days, 3 nights. And they wanted $299 for my free 4 days which was supposed to be 7. I then said, ok but we want to stay the week. The clerk tells me it's 8 days and it's gonna be $599. She now couldn't guarantee my spot, I needed 50 amps and full hook up. They couldn't even promise that the water would be on. Mid may? I thought about it and she's talking in circles, wouldn't really answer my questions. I finally said that this was too frustrating and im going to book at another park. I get a call back, she puts her manager on who tried like heck to get me to come. He offered a week for $399 and promised a $100 gift card and 21 more free nights in the future. 21 free nights? What's that gonna cost. He too talked like a used car salesman. Double talk, no real guarantees, the whole thing was a massive waste of my time. The efforts they used to keep me interested should have been aimed at telling g the truth from the start. There us no free week, no free anything. I'd suggest you steer clear of a place that trues so hard to bait and switch customers.

I was told for employment to go in Travel Resort of America for employment opportunities
That place is all about families with children. Yes, play all you want! Swim, too!
10 am.. I miss it there. I will be back next year. It's a beautiful place! Enjoy your time there and make lots of memories!!
I have noticed with travel resorts, that you can never get in at your home resort. It's always easier to go one of their other ones. Personally if you haven't been able to get in in 8 years, I would refuse to pay membership fees. It may also have to do with what kind of membership you have. My home resort is bass lake I was told they were booked for the 4th. I called to see if we could get in somewhere else and got us into Gettysburg. I know I have the same problem at bass lake. I believe they over selling membership as well. Recently they told me they have to keep sites open for coast to coast and Sam's club members. Sorry I know its lengthy and might not be much help, but I hope it is.
